Took a lil road trip this weekend and got myself some metanaturals. Tired of hearing about this stuff.
I have read many post on dosage and all. Just wondering what yall's preferences are as far as strength of dose and how often you feed. some current info.
thanks for your time
here's what I bought.

Right on Wa. I think you'll like the metas. I use 3 tsp 3-3-3 for veg and 6 tsp (varied mixes) 3-3-3 x 1-5-5 for flower myself. Usually feed once every couple weeks or when needed. That's worked for me at least. As with any ferts it's basded on what the strain can handle really.

Hey thanks Wa..
Pappy
yup...per gallon.

I've never used as strong a dosage as Pappy is suggesting, but I use the 1-5-5 with every watering at the suggested dosage (1 tsp per gallon). I also haven't used MetaNaturals exclusively; it is always mixed with other organics.

that's helpful fellas....thanks a lot. I know I'll just have to feel it out, but i just wanted to get an idea of what others have had success doing. Seems like maybe 2 tsp per gallon would be good for feeding once a week. I am used to having to increase the dosage at each feeding.

I'm a radical...what can I say?
Wa....I used a higher dosage, but fed less if that helps. Just seemed to work better for me that way since I don't keep strict ledgers like some do. I like shit simple.

Hey wa.
I just tried the Metas and had major PH problems in a soil grow. The range was around 5.0. I also used the Calcium because I am using filtered tap water. So the Calcium might have been the problem, although I don't see how Calcium could turn soil acidic. I used a good draining potting mix that I used on my prior grows grown with Supernatural & Canna ferts. I added prilled dolomite lime(the only kind I could get. It's in pellet form and I'm not sure how available to the plant it is because it didn't seem to help the PH) and worm castings mixed in. They were fine after the first dosage. But after that they looked terrible. Stunted and bronzish.
I finally had to flush them and went back to the Canna for now. They have revovered and are doing nicely.
After doing an extensive search of NJ garden supply shops for dolomite lime(apparently dolomite lime is not available for sale in NJ. I must have called over 50 places), I broke down and ordered a 50LB bag from a place in CA. It is in pulverixed form and cost $5.00. The shipping was $23.00 Oh well.
Next grow I'm gonna use the pulverized dolomite lime and try the Mets again. I really do want to go organic. No Calcium next time either.
Other growers are using Metas with no problem, so obviously, it's me. Just a thought to say keep an eye on them. I'd be interested to see how your grow is going. Please keep us posted.
