i know that marijuana is a "weed" and can survive some harsh conditions, but i live up in the mountains of washington and its gettin kinda cold up here. should i give my babies some warmth somehow or will it survive the cold weather, should i wait till my babes tell me its right to harvest or go early and risk the negative effects

AS long as the weatehr is above 0 your plant will survive. Some strains better than others. Leave your plant there until you see your temp gauge go below 0...If its below 0 only in the morning, you should be fine by keeping it in. But if its constantly below 0 than harvest early.

not always, you can acually benifet from a few frosts. THey tend to stress them out to the point where its giving out every last ounce of energy towards bud prduction and protection(Trikes). Depending on the strain, some will take it better than others. i love keeping my plants out for at least one frost.

my plant went through at leat two frosts, and it was fine. The only damage it took was some dying fan leaves after the second frost, but nothing serious since it was close to harvest time. And yeah, I agree with Danno, frosts kick them into high gear.

I too believe that frost gets em' going. Once it gets cold like that the plants will think 'oh shit, I'd better hurry the fuck up and finish maturing' ya know?.
