Its snowing here, what do I do ??

420girl
Im in Colorado and its snowing here. I brought my plants in last night, but I cant keep them in.  Just happens that there is no one else here but me for another day or so.  Then I have to do something with them.  I have no place to put them.  Is it too early to harvest??  I know if I harvest now I wont get much out of them and I want to get as much as possible.  I dont have any grow lights or I could continue growing in the closet.  I was wondering if I could just cut off the top part that has all the buds and leave the rest to keep on growing.  But again, my main problem is a place to put them.  I live with my in laws right now so Im taking a big risk anyway.  I think the really cold weather is just suppose to last a couple of days, then it will get back up in the 50's or so.  Is it safe to put them back out in that cool weather?  Especially after topping them ??  I have some pretty good size buds on both plants, and I know they will get bigger but the little hairs on the top buds are starting to turn a reddish color.  Doesnt that mean its time to harvest??  The bottom buds still have the white color hairs.  Its damn good pot.  Ive been pinching off a small bud here and there and letting it dry or putting it in the oven for just a few minutes to get them dry enough to burn and it really gets me high.  I cant imagine what it would do if I could let it go until it was time to harvest the whole plant.
Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do with these little girls while the weather is bad ??  Should I harvest the top and let the bottom keep growing or should I harvest the whole plants ??
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Im knew at this and really surprised that I have gotton this far.  The plants are about 3 - 4 feet tall.  We had a really hot and dry spell here a month or so ago and I believe it stunted their growth, but it definitely didnt keep the buds from growing !!!
Please Help !!!!!

I have a friend in Colorado that has harvested some of his plants already. I know it's getting pretty damn close to harvest time for outdoor grows anyway. I would think that even the 50's is getting too cold for them to produce much more. Below a certain temp (mids 60's I believe) the plants slow growth WAY down. If it were me....I'd chop, but that is my opinion. Let's see what others think.

200-250 degrees in the oven for like 15 minutes, it works nicely, my older bro taught me it

to try and answer ur question, its pretty cold up here with my babies growin outdoors, its not snowing but its chilly, i would say if u really think its not close to harvest yet then just keep it out of the snow and start watchin for mold, but if i was you and would have trouble bringing it in cause of in-laws, i would just recommend cuttin her down

Its pretty cold where i live now and mine are still doing fine in the cold weather, i think the temp you have to worry about is freezing, then you will begin to see dead spots from frost,.

I'd have to go with Sparkster's advice...

A lil'til heads up from a state near you 420girl...I harvested two outdoor projects on the 3rd of Oct...even with a few white hairs existing...the bud still did the trick...actually kind of surprised me how potent these lil' specimens were...I've grown indoors for a decade...only the last coupla summers have I attempted strategic outdoor plants in my legit veggie garden....if yer' in the northeast part of Colorado where they just had a bucketloader of snow...if it were me...I'd harvest...so lil'til time left in the season really anydamways...so rather than trouble yerself with the headaches and daunting task of playing Miss Covert with these plants...I'd say chop, chop...and next year start those outdoor kids a coupla weeks earlier...just my nickelbag's worth...;)

mmm .. well 420 ... I'm still keeping mine out with temps going to the 34 F temp tonight(or in Canandian language around 0 or 1 C). We are having a cold spell also but expect things to warm up next week... If your temps stay above freezing with the snow your plants will be ok. As long as it does not snow so much that the weight breaks the stems(worst case u have to harvest). I'm hoping for another few weeks of mid to high 60's.
