I'm growing outside and I'd like to know what are the best plants to use and grow beside my babies to hide them? Any good plants (i.e. veggies, palms, ivy, etc) out there that will conceal and not harm my girls. Just starting to cool down here...hurricane Wilma knocking on our door though. A lot of rain!!!

I'd have some bright flowers around it. I know this sounds odd but if you think when you have bright flowers people only realy notice them and not what's sitting right beside or behind it. Just deture their eye's from the real prize plant. Also most bright flowers have strong smells too so this will help mask some of the smell too.

I have a buddy that grows a veggie garden and hides his green amoungst his pole beans.... works pretty damned well.

Pin some flowers on your plants to make them look like something other than weed.

A buddys father used to use japanese ornamental bushes forget exactly what he called them, but they did a pretty good job on pulling your eye away from the mj plants.
EDIT: If Im not mistaken the bushes were called Scotchbroom(?)

the japanese maple the green variety, the leafs are split and at a glance look like, and they stay small with pruning.

my friend has a huge green Japanese Maple and we used to joke "how cool would it be if that was a giant herb plant". Any Japanese maple is good because people know it's a tree when they see it, so if they see some smaller MJ plants around it they will think of it as an offshoot or some unfamilar weed (if they don't know what MJ looks like). There is also the infamous Spider Flower, which has leaves that are similar to MJ. In the end, though, you're better off not growing outdoors on your own property, unless you live out in the woods where no one is around.

Anything that is a hearty leafy shrubby plant should do the trick. Just make sure it can handle any harsh/cold weather... You pot plant will live through tough times, and if all the plants around it die -your plant will stick out worse than ever- and you will be screwed. Good luck.

Tomatoes in large cages are still probably the best. especially with indica clones,(they stay short) But like was said already unless you live where it is legal, growing on your own land is foolish. I have been there. If you would like to not be able to sleep for a couple months growing in your yard is right for you, if you like feeling extreme anxiety everytime you even think you here a chopper growing in your yard is for you. Do they extra legwork, and find a safe location off of your land, or anyone else's personal property for that matter.
