no access to fresh air you mean like from outside? you can run an intake into the room from anywhere in your house it doesnt need to be an outside intake? looks like you got it figured out though. just one thing i see some of your ducting is bent at angles greater then 90Degrees even. youll have better airflow if you only bend the ducting at 45Degree angles.
ok let me see if i can figure this out. your can fan is exhausting your light hoods. where does the exhaust from your lights go to? and where does the exhaust from the elicent fan exhaust to after it passes through the carbon filter?

Hey now GhostDog. I dont have access to fresh air from outside. I am exausting everything in my attic including my canfilter. I have a couple little A frame typed vents up there. I ran ducting up to them as close as I could get it. Im wondering now if I should allow an intake from my attic for my light hoods, instead of how I have it just sucking hot air out.

uh bro.. you dont want to cap off the ends.. and plus i dont recomend sucking the air out unless you want to change your fans a lot.. fans cool themselves with air.. they cant cool themselves with HOT air. its happened to me.. i never did it again..plus.. you have a totaly of (2) openings in yyour hood right?? well one will have ducting attatched to it with a fan sucking (if you will) air out.. well, the other end must be open.. it has to collect air.. its like trying to suck air out of a water bottle.. it starts to smoosh.. that wont happen to your hood cause there isn't enough power but youg et my drift.. it cant do it.. now if you have like 3 or 4 holes and you cap only 1 or 2 and leave 2 open then great..

EDIT: that is if what I understand to be your setup is what it is.. if its something other then what i think it is, it may be irrelevant..
btw.. i just saw the 2nd page (i had totaly missed it) and nice set up bro.. did you do all the elec. outlets from the sub panal? cause i'm going to do them myself.. never have but i'm not an idiot.. may need to ask you a few ?'s..

Thanks frozenguy. Yes I definitely need to address my light situation It needs an intake for sure. I hate to construct with me up and running. It just seems to me if I the ducting go up in my ceiling to my attic its still going to be sucking warm air from the attic kind of defeating the purpose I think?? I only have a little Aframe type vent up in my attic that goes to the outside I will use it as much as I can. I dont really know what else to do. It makes sense about keeping the fan air cooled though, CanFan has a good waranty. I don't want ducting running threw my house if you know what I mean...
