in a true aeroponics system the pump is set on a timer to mist 1 minute on. 5 off.

Some are even at less of an interval.... the shorter its able to dry out and mist agian the better!

i could be wrong, if so correct me, but i think i heard somewhere, that letting the roots dry out somewhat is good for a plant in veg state, so it focuses on growing and it will make it grow faster and be a better plant, but only during veg. I could just be stoned right now and off topic totally but just trying to help. Take care, peace.

so im looking into using ultrasonic mist maker thingies...
would this be an on off thing or could i run it all the time? the site says not to run it more than 8 hours a day so i was gonna have 4 of them in the res running each one for 6 hours. anyone ever used these things?
