i have 4 plants under 3 400 hps and 1 600 mh in coco soil in a run to waste system. They r 2 weeks into flowering and the leaves comming out of the flowers look as if they r curling an darkening in colour. I have just changed nutrients from optimum flower to cocobloom nutrient since the problem started. I was under feeding them when using optimum but started feeding them the right amount of coco bloom. Can anyone help cheers

You say you are feeding them the right amount of ferts. Do you have a PPM meter? I have found that alot of times the directions on the bottle come out to hot or high on the suggested ppm's. The ferts i use have a target for PPM's and i have to adjust the ratios across the board to achive them. I do so by - i have an 18 gallon ressy-i mix at 18 gallons- to high- at 14 gallons it comes out right. I agree with the other as to put them under one or two lights for now to save on the power bill. What kind of heat and vetilation do you have going on there? One thing that comes to mind is maybe high on ferts and to much water.

Sounds like your growing some trees there. It's only 1,800 watts guys and gals, really not that large of a scale. Assuming temps are under control and without seeing a picture we all might as well throw darts in the dark. However, based on your description and the timing it sounds like it might be an overdose of P. You said the leaves are darkening up and curling, are they curling up like a "Ram's Horn" and look darker than the healthy fan leaves? If so, that's what I would have to guess, but again, that's a guess. Just curious, did you use any additives for the transition to bloom? Anyway, try flushing with Ph adjusted plain water for 48 hours, you should see the laves straighten out a bit. Then go back to your normal nutrient regimine.

That's nothing man, I have seen Krusty/Freedom (search OG)style grows running 10K watts for 10 plants. 4 1000 watters and 10 600 watters. The plants grew to 6-7 ft. tall. Each plant was given 5'x5' spacing (yes, that's feet! lol) and they really filled it up. Each plant produced 1.5 - 2.5 LBS. Total harvest was just over 21 lbs. 6.5 weeks of veg (2.5 with only 6000W and last 4 weeks with the full 10K) and 7.5 weeks flower. Strain was the Hog from (shit, is it THSeeds or Flying Dutchman? well you get the point). Just goes to show that if so inclined you can grow commercial and still keep your plant count down!
