crusing really isn't that common for people with tourettes, it's like saying that all old people have cancer.

I know that this condition can make you yell and twitch but does it make you an asshole? Not to say you an ass or anything Bad Monkey. The ppl that I have met that had this condition were dicks and everybody was like " Oh well he has touretts" but i never though that it would make ppl be dicks. Just like you said it makes ppl twitch and yell. I hear that there r different severities of the condition but wtf. These dudes (it seemed to me) did anything they wanted,be hurtfull tto ppl ,and got away with it because they hade this codition. What is the real deal? And r u from missouri bad monkey?
tourettes is a serious condition. Once read a book by one of the leading neuro doctors involved in brain dysfunction who discussed in depth a patient he once had that suffered from SEVERE tourettes. The patient was one of the absolute BEST surgeons in his country being top notch in a very well respected hospital despite it.
How did he achieve being one of the very best surgeons despite having SEVERE tourettes?
when he would focus the twitching would stop, meaning intense focus. Considering performing surgery requires intense focus being in this type of 'zone' relieved his symptoms as if he didnt suffer from the condition at all. This was only during surgery.
When this man would wash his hands and arms before a surgery he would twitch violently & uncontrollably. When visiting a patient before surgery, like surgeons often do, it frightened them to death knowing this man was going to be their surgeon.
However once they put a scalpel in his hands he was an absolutely Amazing surgeon the twitching would stop. he was smooth as silk.
Good book! will have to find the title again cant remember the name of it to save my life.

yeah would probably bail on him myself. would be hard to believe the man could perform sugery safely but according to the book he was a top notch surgeon... wild stuff

well i went to school with a few ppl with terrates and i always felt bad for em, gettin picked on all the time an shit i just didn't like it, mabye if i ever run inta one of those guys ill slip em a J
