I could be wrong, but most seed sites I've gone to say that white widow is the most potent.

Any strain has it's potential to be very potent, it depends on two things, the genetics and the cultivist. Some seed banks don't have either of these cause they just grow any seeds that they can sell without worrying about stability or quality.
Any breeder like myself knows that the only way to get a strong stable and high potent strain is to get them from homegrowers or breeders. So basically just cause its white widow doesn't mean it's good. Don't get me wrong though, some seed banks have good quality seeds too, but they don't always have the best ratio. Three days ago i planted 34 seeds, today i have 33 seedlings, no joke it's all in the genetics. One time I bought 10 all female chocolate chunk seeds from marc emery, 2 turned out to be strong females and one of them was a sativa, who the fuck cultivated those. See what i mean.
Hey man, no worries though, have fun and be wise about choosing your strains, maybe consider some of mine, they are VERY potent (especially the chunk).
My strains are Chocolate chunk, Stouporsonic, Shiskaberry, Jack Herer, Blueberry and Lionheart. Oh yea and of course my F1 crosses. I am also being sent some new strains as well, Shiva shanti, Master kush and Northern Lights 5. I am very excited to try them.

Check out grasscity.com I think its an affiliate of growkind. They have hundreds of varieties some costing more than $100 a pack...they have to be good if they cost that much.

Hey Smokey Jay. Your comment that any strain has the potential to be very potent isnt true at all. There are many strains that produce very little thc at all. No matter what the growing conditions are. Genetics IS the KEY TO Potential potency,

Rascal, that is absolutely correct genetics IS key, but I'm a breeder, and I build my strains to be the best they can be, which is what can be done with any strain. That is what I meant by any strain has its potential to be great, it just requires a lot of work. Sorry for the confusiuon.

I think that nutrients can hurt the plant (make less or smaller or die) but the genetics determine the potential potency.
