I try to spend about 30-45 min with my plants every night when I turn on the light (2:30am, I'm a night owl and it gets cold outside, so they need the heat). It's really cold and I'm kinda sick of it. But I don't have another means of CO2. Does this extra CO2 do anything? They are in an outside, ventilated shed, so they also have whatever outside CO2 there is.
Also, whats the easiest/cheapest way to get CO2 by other means. Sugar, yeast, water? If so, what measurements of each?

I don't know what others will say but I think your plants will be fine with what they are receiving.
I have 5 plants growing under 1 400w HPS and they are doing fine just by my opening the door to the closet during the light on 12 hours.
I think it's helpful the time you are spending with your plant. It can't hurt it and you are giving off CO2 while your watching them. I know you enjoy it because I do. I look over every inch of the plant and marvel at how far they have come.
I'm a couple weeks away from harvest on 2 plants and I don't think they show any signs of CO2 deficiency.
