Has anyone here ever made there own HPS. I was hoping to find out what parts I would need to make my own. I have a friend who is an electritian who could wire it all up I just need to know what parts are needed any help would be great

its very simple....a socket that will work........ a bulb...a ballast.... a bit of cord....and a reflector if you find it nesacery

and a plug ! gotta have that they have some 400 watts kit on ebay from time to time and the wiring in structings are with it real simple to do I built my 400 hps from one of those kits and it works great hope it helps Dan
