ok i went out side today to check on ym tomatoes and all of the top brances leafs were dealvorewd i found a huge green catipiller munching on some leaves for got the technicail name for em but there abotu as big as your thumb whats some good homemade concations that work?

Don't know any home made caterpillar remedies, but Seven dust is pretty cheap, and available at your local Walmart. Just reapply after it rains.

Seven will get rid of those caterpillar.But if its the big Green ones you can usally get them all by hand.Just stay on top of it checking every day .One good thing is they dont like pot plants.

yea i noticed cause i had a few pot plants in between the tomatoes ass well and they dident go for them

sounds like a tomato or tobacco hornworm to me. they're really big, so findng them shouldnt be a problem. i've noticed a bite missing here and there on my girl, but it seems w/e took the bite didnt like it and moved on. me and my best friend just joke about how the little bastard who did it got high and forgot what he was doing and sorta just fell off

You may try introducing nematodes into your growing enviroment, they are said to feed on soft worm larva and other small criters, worth a try.
