I'm growing outdoors and it hasn't rained lately, like not for the past week n' a half. I haven't had time to go water them myself but it's supposed to rain tomorrow. My question is, do you think my plants are fine going without water for a week n' a half? The spot is real low so the soil holds moisture pretty well but I just don't know. It's been like really hot the past 2 weeks (mid 80s - low 90s) Think they're ok? I really hope we get rain tomorrow.

well I say mj plants like a drought folowed by a flood.. I guess it depends on how healthy your plants were b4 the "drought". I'd say water them babies if you can. if not cross your fingers. i'll do a lil rain dance for ya though just in case.

Thanks wawona. I appreciate it. Half were healthy and about 1'-1inahalf' tall and the others were still pretty short. Like 6-10 inches but still pretty healthy. They need to grow fast. It's almost time to start budding. Only like 2 more months left. How big do you think they'll get and how much should I expect to yield?

T' your little ones will suffer the drought most. @ 6-10" they may not have the roots to seek the deeper moisture like the larger ones. 10 days is a long whilw to be without water, but totally depends on your soil, humidity and plants health. Most places/plants are about finished with the pre-budding stretch, so I wouldn't look for a lot more growth, mostly bud production from here on. No possible way to estimayr yield, but the more care they recieve, the higher the rewards

mulch plants heavily and water every day or every other day.... espicially if its hot. if the plants look ok after a week and a half of no water then ok....but if they are dead by the time you check them then they are gone and thats no good.

Well, they're alive and doing good. It rained this morning so no more drought. I may have a problem though. I think someone might have found my spot so I dunno wtf to do. There were quad tracks going up to the place and it sorta looked like someone was back there. I have like 20 babies so it wouldnt be easy moving all of them. 4 are blueberries so I really wanna get those outta there but I don't have anywhere else to put em. What do you think I should do?

id move them stat! inside or another location way way away... if u see quad track leading up to your patch ...u made as mistake by not having the location remote enough. Hike deeper into woods, ude water catching crystalws in your soil mix with plenty of andaments and heavy mulch and snailbait all around the plants.

I've said this before in the forums:
Only the plants know if they have a problem and they tell you about it by the way they look. You can't say " I havn't watered in 1 1/2 weeks is it ok?". Because maybe it is for some strains and not for others. If they look thirsty I say give 'em a drink!

Well it's all good now. They told me they were doing fine. Thanks for your help guys.
