foliar spray killing our crop

rdubb419
hello around 3 days ago my roomate sprayed some of our plants with foliar spray and at first their older leaves started turning yellow and curling on the tips then the younger growth stopped growing and started turning yellow and curling also. It seems to me that the chemical dried the overall plant out. is there anything at all that we can do to save them??

I'd spray them off with water!!   Heavily soak them, on both sides and hopefully this will help.  Usually you spray them when the lights turn off because the liquid will act as a magnifying glass and burn the leaves.  Also have a fan blowing on them to fid of any extra liquid too.  What did you spray them with? Did you make the mixture to strong?  These are all possibilities

Well our plants are located outside and there is usually a slight breeze. I dont know what my roomate was thinking spraying our already healthy plants with a chemical they have never been exposed to let alone while the sun was out. I'm going to water them down really well tonight but the chemical has already soaked in and i doubt it will help much. He used something called green stay. Needless to say my other roomates just think the plant is going to die and have given up on it i was hoping there was something we could try. Just lots of water, thats my only option?

This is going to sound very "Hippyish" But If you have faith and believe that it will make it, the little buggar might astonish you.  They react to what you feel so if your always positive and happy, your plant(s) will grow strong and healthy, and vice versa.  Their attuned to us on a bio-molecular level.  It's similar to a maturnal bond that a mother has with her child.

As crazy as that may sound to some people, the concept is based in solid scientific fact. The phenomena is known as "coevolution".

The simplest way to illustrate the concept is the following fact: Before there were bumblebees, there were no flowers. Not until there was insects to pollinate the flowers did the flowers begin to evolve from the ferns. This wasn't that long ago either, about 150 million years ago.

The same rings true for marijuana. There was never any THC until there was ... intelligence. Part of the DNA of marijuana has evolved to unlock certain receptors built into our brain. The plant, over millions of years; has evolved along with ourselves to co-exist and benefit from eachother.

:-D Makes me happy.

That's very interesting,  I just go by what I feel,  when I work with plants my hands heat up and a huge big goofy smile crawls across my face.  I'm sure everyone knows what I'm talking about the smile, but know so common with the hands.  It feels like something is flowing through my hands.  There's something that is similar to what I'm describing and that's called Reiki.  It's a universal energy that we can all tap into at any given time.

That really bites that he did that. I myself am not into foliar feeding myself unless the root zone is unable to provide nutrients. The plants just absorb it too fast and if done wrong... well you see the effects. I'd wash them off as well and hope for the best.

for sure energy is key... i remember when i started my seedlings i grew like 5 of them under 2 15watt bulbs... they still grew real healthy up to 11 inches (in a 14 inch tall box) i had no idea what i was doing and everyday i'd check on them and talk to them and they'd just make me so happy... energy is for sure a key, they pick up on that shit no doubt
