i'll have pics to post in a bit, but my plant has suddenly found a niche in the environment i have set up, and it's been flourishing in veg the last week or so. i read something in the advanced forum where one of yall had like 8 nodes in 8 inches, well i have 8 today and the thing is only 5 inches tall. ok? so.. its doing well.
anyways, most of my leaves are pretty big, and some are starting to sag a bit. i'm expecting my HPS in the mail this week, at least by friday, and i was gonna start flowering the day i got my light. (it's been a month)
well first i was wondering, is this normal, and if not, what are the problems? (i do have a MINOR spider mite problem, on one leaf, i might add)
and secondly, i have 8 parallel nodes, and my main stem is like half covered in small leaves, which are growing right at the base of each leaf stem. it's been a month, and i was wondering if it would be cool to continue veg under the hps, when it got here.
and what would happen if i put it into 12/12 under the HPS without the alternating nodes?
lots of questions, but it's crunch time and i have to make a decision, i just hate making uneducated ones.

I believe you are answering your own question about why your plant is losing vitality by stating that you had spider mites. Perhaps you should remedy this problem before you attempt to flower your plant.

How often do you water? What size pots? I would wait for the nodes to start alternating.
Mites might be your problem. But if it minor infestation as this point I am not to sure. Are you sure it just one leaf?

yeah man i IN-SPEC-TED the shit out of it tonight, and it's on one segment of one leaf. and it's not even a problem. shit i wish i could show you... i was thinking it was because the fan was blowing on it, cuz i got 5 20W flos 2 inches from it, it creates an elevated amount of heat. but the fan apparently hasn't been blowing on the lights, it's been blowing on the bottom of the pot, and i hadn't caught it until tonight.
what can i do about the effect heat does to my plant? i think that could be it. shit what am i saying could be a number of things.

you know in the back of my head i kinda suspected that was it, but today i look and more than one leaf has this shit on it, its like brownish, and yellowish, and there is a SMALL hole in one of my leaves. if you can, read the other topic i posted on spidermites today, i just dont feel like writing all that...
