I have noticed an orange fungus starting to grow on the top soil of one of my seedlings. The seedling is very poor in my opinion, but I was just wondering what this fugus was and how to get rid of it.Also I have a gnat problem but I just ordered some Diatomaceous Earth. Is that fungus attracting the gnats?

Do not know about the orange fungus attract gnats but i think Died Blood, when incorporated into the soil, certainly does.

the fungus AND gnats are an indication of too much watering.

Dude, I do not overwater my shit. I am no newbie by no means;I let my root systems stretch. I was think the reason was because the the bags I scored were the very bottom bags, and I checked the pH and it was 5.5, so nonetheless, I decided never to bnuy the bags thatt are at the bottom of the stack. Actually I decided to start mixing my own.
