how do you flush plants that are in the ground? do i just water them allot or is there more to it then that?

Flushing ground-planted varieties may only involve flooding the soil near the end of flowering, but depending on what you fed them it may not be necessary. Is this for flowering, or did you burn your plants with fertilizer?
