As mentioned in a post I've just replied to, due to family commitments (wife wouldn't let me) I've had to temporarily suspend my grow room activities, now I've almost bankrupt us having to buy retail I've put my foot down (she's letting me) and started up again. I'm in a modified garden shed and due to it being closed down for nearly a year I wanted to make sure there were no hungry passengers waiting to lunch on my girls. I was extremely fortunate and managed to find a bug bomb (I searched and searched a couple of years ago to be told that EU had banned them) it's actually called a Sulpher Candle and I followed the instructions diligently. Lit it, sealed the room, left it for twelve hours, then ventilated for a further twelve hours. The sulpher smell was still quite strong but delivery of some bigger than "stick 'em on the windowsill for now" mothers and a few half way through flowering girls had been taken and I figured the smell may take a while to dissipate. Anyhow, the leaves are very slightly discolouring in very small patches. Ordinarily I wouldn't be that concerned as I've just re-potted them and the change of environment will have an affect, also the discolouration isn't that bad. Just a little paranoid that the sulpher may have caused a problem....?? Any ideas and if so what do I do about it? The sulpher smell has now gone, even so the extractor is on 24/7 for now. p.s. it's good to be back!

I use a sulfar vaporiser and it will kill the bugs and make it unpleasent for them but it will not harm the plants it is what the big growers in green houses use to get rid of mites in holland and is very efficent at it it is supposed to be good for the plants as well from what i have read on the net just smells like hell for a little bit hope it helps Dan
