I am having some problems with leaves browing and dying. They start with a slight interveinal chlorosis, and then get a bunch of brown dead spots all over. This progresses to the leaf crisping and browing. You can see the pics here:
It looks like this may be ozone burn. It happened only after I put in a higher output ozone generator and looks consistent with that.

It looks like the plant is eating the food stored in those leaves. This is a result of several possibilities:
*No food is getting to the leaves from the roots. What are you feeding your plant(s)?
*Your pH is off and the nutrients in your fertilizers/soil cannot be taken in by the root system. What is the pH of your soil, water, and nutrient solutions?
*Your plant is root bound. If the mass above the soil is too large for the available root space the plant will let some of the fan leaves die, as the plant can only support what it has roots for.

Food: I am using botanicare pure blend bloom soil at about 1/2 strength.
PH: I PH correct the water/nutes to 6.5, runoff usually is at 6.7 - 6.8
I defintitely think root-bound would be the problem. They are still in 6.5" pots because the only way to put them in the enclosure they are is to put them both int the same pot. I didn't do that because they hadn't shown their sex yet. Now that I know they are both female, I suppose its ok to do that now?

You can and should repot them now. You will see an improvement within 72 hours after doing so. Go with at least a 3 gallon pot. I had the same problem and within 2 days of repotting and flushing they came back strong.
With that said, my plants lose leaves from time to time especially around the bottom. I'm no expert by any means. I'm a newbie and this information is only information that was given to me, implemented with positive results.
