I realize that there will always be bad plants right off the bat for some reason or other. But, here is a weird situation that I was just wondering if anyone had seen before. I have 9 seedlings (3 days old). 3-ww, 3-bm x bm and 3-haze. They were all looking good Friday then on saturday I noticed that on one of the ww's the first set of leaves (first jagged ones) started turning brown. It's not too close to the light. I haven't added anything except water and that only to keep the soil moist. Today the water leaves have closed back up over the browning jagged leaves. I'm pretty sure it's dying but it hasen't laid down yet. I'm including pics of that one and the two other ww's that are the same age. Nothing is different with these plants, soil distance from light, etc. Anyone seen anything like this before?
Here's the sick one.
And again
Here's a sister the same age
Other sister same age

I think it's just something that happens occasionally.
I have germinated 5 seeds, twice now and each time 1 of the seedlings didn't make it. We didn't do anything different for those particular plants, they just didn't make it.
Did you plant the WR also?

Yes. I soaked them in water 24 hrs and put them in same setup as those in the pics (jiffy mix in small jiffy pots.. One of the seeds had already started to bust in the cup of water so I expect it to bust through the soil in the next day. Maybe two.
Oh and I agree about the sick seedling. It's a natural occurrance.
