Collapse of U.S. Economy Imminent 283 comment(s). In its attempt to establish a world empire dominating every nation on the planet, the U.S. has exhausted its ability to finance the expansion and the country now faces imminent financial collapse. From all indications, it looks like 2006 will spell the end for America. Consider these five important points:
Point #1 The U.S., Great Britain and Israel are preparing to attack Iran. As it appears the main reason for invading Iraq was to stop it from selling oil in Euros, likewise Iran has plans to dump the dollar come March 2006.
Point #2 U.S. Treasury Secretary John Snow issued a warning recently that the U.S. Government is on the verge of collapse - as the statutory debt limit imposed by Congress of $8.184 trillion dollars would be reached in mid-February - the government would then be unable to continue its normal operations. Considering the current total U.S. debt stands at $8.162 trillion dollars, once the official debt ceiling ($8.184 trillion) is reached, the U.S. government’s credit abroad (its borrowing power) is gone. Those countries (mainly China) who presently keep America afloat by holding U.S. Treasury Notes, will most likely no longer continue doing so.
Point #3 Bank Of America and Compass Bank managers (probably all other U.S. banks too) have been instructing their employees in the last few weeks on how to respond to customer demands in the event of a collapse of the U.S. economy - specifically telling the employees that only agents from the Department Of Homeland Security will have authority to decide what belongings customers may have from their safe deposit boxes - and that precious metals and other valuables will not be released to U.S. citizens. The bank employees have been strictly prohibited from revealing the banks’ new "guidelines" to anyone. (however, employees have been talking to friends and family)
The next time you visit your bank, ask them about it - then ask yourself, why is this information being kept secret from customers and the public - what’s really going on?
Point #4 FEMA has activated and is currently staffing its vast network of empty internment camps with armed military personnel - unknown to most Americans, these large federal facilities are strategically positioned across the U.S. landscape to "manage" the population in the event of a "terrorist" attack, a civilian uprising, large-scale dissent ,or an insurrection against the government. Some of these razor-wired facilities have the capacity of detaining a million people.
Point #5 The Patriot Act and the US Senate’s vote to ban habeas corpus (Nov 14th) - along with George W. Bush having signed executive orders giving him sole authority to impose martial law, suspend habeas corpus and ignore the Posse Comitatus Act, have together pretty much destroyed any notions of freedom and justice for Americans.
Summary: The U.S. economy is broken, the United States is bankrupt - the unchecked spending by this administration, the illegally waged wars against Afghanistan and Iraq, the cost of unprecedented weapons and military build-up - have all contributed to an irreversible emergency which is threatening our nation’s existence and our very lives.
Hospitals are closing, major corporations are declaring bankruptcy and/or moving their companies overseas, the monopolized news media spews nothing but lies, and our fearless leaders have turned out to be only ruthless criminals hell-bent on destabilizing our country and robbing us all.
Be aware - we stand at the threshold of total ruin - the international bankers and war profiteers care little for our lives and families - these demons worship money and all things vile and evil - they have very much to gain from war, misery, disease, famine, chaos and death (our deaths).
We are right on the edge - the Treasury is already overextended - the U.S. government cannot (and will not) care for its own citizens’ needs, nor secure our borders against illegal aliens - plus, the whole "terrorist" thing is a cruel hoax perpetrated against a trusting citizenry - and only designed to instill fear and garner support for the genocide taking place in Iraq.
Should America (along with British & Israeli forces) launch a war against Iran, or another country, without yet paying for, or even recovering from the current losses in Iraq and elsewhere - the costs of such of an invasion will overwhelm an already crippled economy and push the U.S. over the edge into oblivion.
Question: Considering the U.S. Treasury Notes that China currently holds (which keeps the U.S. economy going)...
Do you think China will continue to support a country’s economy (the U.S.) whose military launches a nuclear strike against its neighbor (Iran) - thus delivering a blanket of radioactive fallout over western Chinese provinces - killing hundreds of thousands, if not millions of its citizens?
I think not.
Factoring in the aforementioned points of "preparation" engineered by U.S. authorities, I’d say there’s a stinking rat in the woodpile ...can you smell it too?

just something i read , take with a pinch of salt.
YS thanks that was a good read ,lots of good post from all sides of the issues. This post by the guy in Kentucky real tells you something.
I just happened to stumble upon this web site and I now feel compelled to write what I KNOW to be truth.
I am an American. Born in the state of Kentucky and I have lived here all my life. I have been in 49 of the other states and during those travels I did see a similarity to my own beloved home of Kentucky. Those similarities are as follows.. Here in my state poverty is RAMPANT. There are no jobs of any decent calibur, only WalMart, McDonalds and the like. The majority of people can afford to shop only at THE DOLLAR GENERAL STORE or THE FAMILY DOLLAR STORE, living on minimum wage barely pays the bills. The people in my community struggle with worry constantly due to the recent EXTREME increase in the price of natural gas and electricity. I am actually uncomfortably cold as I write this post. Along with the lack of employment comes the lack of health insurance, the people of my community must choose to pay either the heating bills or for medical attention which carries with it insane medicine costs. All with VERY LITTLE assistance from the federal government. Substandard housing is the norm here. Mobile homes or very old homes which you must cover the windows with plastic and stuff rags into cracks to keep out the bitter cold. The jobs that ARE availabe are using imported mexican and romanian labor, working them non-union in our local oil refinery which happens to be the fourth largest refinery in the USA. The last time I checked, the national poverty guideline was like $25,000 a year and that was some time ago. I was a union steel painter from the time I graduated high school in 1987 until I was hurt in an off work accident in 2000. I am now disabled and support a family of four on $10,200 a year. Very much below the poverty level. And what is alarming to me is that the number of people who live in my state under these exact same conditions is tremendous.
Substandard food Substandard clothing Substandard medical care Substandard dental care Substandard housing Substandard automobiles Living week to week Living month to month No possible way to get ahead or establish a savings No jobs Demands for property tax Demands for automobile tax & insurance
I see nothing positive in any of this. I see no way out and no body who cares....
SOMETHING is going to happen. It has to.
And my points cannot be argued because I live this reality EVERYDAY.
That is a sad but very true post. I am not in the same boat as this man. I do, however understand his position. I live in the same state he does. He is right. This state is divided. A person either has or does not. The haves are hateful and judgemental. The have nots are just as he said cold, hungry and broke with little hope in sight.
I live week to week myself. Pay check to pay check with no hope of any kind of savings in sight.
The facts are we live in a time of severe greed by those who can impose it on others and take from them by gouging the markets of necessity. Gas, food, clothes, shelter a job to be proud of.
Education is for the rich or the foriegner here. You either have the money to go to college or it is granted to you because your a foriegner, otherwise your screwed.
PA, FL, TX, TN, OH, AK, VA, WV, AL, AR, MN, NY, MD, NJ, OK, KS, GA, MS, LA, NM, CO, MN, MI, MT, WY, WA, OR, IN, IL are most of the states I have been to. They are all the same. Haves and have nots, rich / poor.
America is becoming a poor place to live if your an American. Plain and simple.

At 18 I went to culinary college for two years and graduated to find I had no expierience to get a real chefs job, only apprentice chopping, peeling stuff and preping. I joined the navy and my college was worth alot more there. For 5 years I gave the prime of my life to service of this GREAT country. I then saw an opportunity to make good cash driving over the road semi trucks. So I took my honorable discharge and got schooled and hired to drive semi- trucks and did so for 5 more years. After which I was tired of not being home. So, I went and learned how to sell cars at a large dealership. I sold cars and trucks for 3 years and the 100% commision earnings were good but not great. So, I went to night school and completed a certificate program in computer aided drafting. I later got a entry level position with the promise of great earnings if I did not wash out. After 1 and a half years I saw that I was not going to be able to keep pace with the incredible amount of information I was expected to absorb. So, I began to form a plan B as this feeling grew. Then I saw an ad for hire being a residential maintenace guy living rent free. I had no expierience, but when hired it was told to me that I was energetic, pro active and I would learn the bulk of maintenance only by doing it. I was hired because I had no expierience, but showed them I was a fire pisser and a thunderbolt crapper. After 4 years there I was cutting the grass and a landscape crew was cutting next door. I started talking to the owner about what he had done to get started up. After 3 or 4 months I decided to take a home equity loan out and bought a new commercial mower, trimmers, blowers etc. for 11,000 dollars and have been doing very well with 1 or 2 sub contractors assisting. For 5 years and some months I have been very successful through word of mouth, buisness cards and fliers door to door each spring and fall. I am the asshole in charge of my own destiny. motivation and confidence are the keys to success. The words of R. Lee Ermy and words I live by. I am no one special. I have been given no silver spoon or hand outs. I have also not had much misfortune and I thank my God for it. Not every one gets good cards when they are dealt, but some know how to make a so-so hand play harder than the face value of the cards. Thats what I know I have done. I am a nobody, just another married man living in our nice and modest house with a 3 year old Ford truck and a 6 year old Toyota. But, there is money in the bank and a trip some where each year. We go out to eat and see a movie or a comedian etc. every Friday night. I have made my life comfortable by attacking my problems, not moaning about them. If a bad injury or illness comes, I have AFLAC insurance to pay the bills. Start attacking and investing in your future and your future will pay you back. If all the things happen that were posted by Yorkshire smoker, at least I am going to be as prepared for it as I can be and with this warning I am going to buy a safe and put my safety deposit box crap in there. I am also going to the red cross web site and print a list of items needed for 3 months of rough times. Guns are already aquired. Yeah, this country is burning out like a shooting star. I am not going to be one of the people who spent all of their time and energy being pissed of at government or rich people. Rather, a person who stays alert for opportunity and disaster and am constantly adjusting the game plan to eliminate as much of the hurt that they dish out. Yeah there are no real jobs out there anymore for us average Joes, but there is better than Mc doogles and krispy kreme etc. Believe you can do a job and don't give up thinking around the obstacles. As an average joe, you have know that the rich guy can hire anyone of us. When you get a chance to talk to the man, leave all of your failures and frustrations at home every single interview. Go in there with a ' You need my killer work ethic ' attitude and snip them nose hairs and nails too! Show them you are an average Joe with above average standards in dress, hygiene and attitude and you will be successful. Don't think you can change the present, you can't. The rest of your life on the other hand, is waiting for your utter devotion to it.

Grass Master54, I agree that anyone can do better than mc Donald's.This guy in Kentucky had a good job and got hurt away from work.I wouldn't be so cocky about your AFLAC insurance,My co worker has that insurance and got hurt playing softball. They are fucking him left and right.Well if you look at his policy closer there is a clause about risky behavior. They spent 1 year fighting him because, get this AFLAC thinks softball is risky behavior. The checks don't come on time so bills don't get paid on time.He thought his coverage was for 2,000 a month ,but he is getting 1,200 a month after fighting for a year.I agree that everyone should do the best they can to get by but it is getting harder for everyone.Just hope you don't get hurt and have to find out how these insurance companies can get away with anything.I went thru 3 hurricanes and had to fight the insurance company the whole way.It wasn't till I went for mediation that they started to pay SOME of the costs.Insurance sucks if I had none FEMA would of paid for everything like they did for my neihbor.
