CanadianDAN, I appreciate it very much that you obviously took time to say what you did and explain yourself and this forum. I found the web site and jumped right in without hesitation. Obvoiusly I am very interested in the issues and quite frankly never gave to much weight to the conspiracies or men smoking cigars in a secret rooms plotting the coarse of world affairs. I am open minded and now even more so. When someone can pick up the gauntlet and say your wrong as you did will always get my attention and respect. I like my pie in the sky view. I believe if you don't stand for something than you will fall for anything. I do watch only the major news sources and have always thought they have the most resources and can dig the deepest. Small conspiracies may occur, but the rest was what movies are made of. But since I have never before taken the time to give any validation to these type of viewpoints, I am what I am. Neobud, I'll take those shots with cander, because you took mine pretty good. I don't sell any pot though for income. I just don't like paying for it or trying to aquire it. Always to much and always some kind of hassle. As far as the economy taking a dive, it would hurt me. I have concentrated on the richest areas of the suburbs for other reasons than this. But these people like to seperate themselves from everyone else and I can see many of them still wanting to look rich even if they weren't doing as good as they were. None the less most every buisness has an achilles heel for one reason or another and that would certainly be mine. I sypathize somewhat with what you said about KY. I used to drive for Briggs and Stratton down to Murray, Ky. 3 times a week and it was town of all light commercial buisnesses built around the factory and the non union wages were a third of what they were here. It did look much harder to get by there and as I think about what you say, what would my out look be if I were living there. It would be different. So, from my viewpoint before, it did seem very attainable to do what I did. With that in mind, I believe my view point in this area needed more balance and has become so. In regards to my post about oil, I process the information I am given (the cable news networks and newspaper) and put my viewpoints to work. If that yields a pie in the sky outlook on matters, then consider me a poverty case of the truth. I am open minded, but have shunned many outside sources as crack pots. I did not respect President Clinton in some areas. Back in the 90's someone showed me an article about the " Clinton manifesto " saying how he was having people bumped off and skimming cash from the poor etc etc. I said it was a bunch of bologna and still think so. Maybe I was wrong? But why can't issues like this get out into the mainstream if it is true I ask? I can see not wanting instabilaty in the government perhaps or public pandimonium regarding the U.S. dollar being dumped. Many great cultures have come and gone through slow decay. I have always looked at this country as doing the same and just never considered to much about a sudden change. You guys have had your points made. In this forum of special interests, I will be quicker to listen and slower to speak.

I am not for allowing Iran to become a nuclear threat, but they do have the same rights as we do in this world. It is what they do with those rights that I stay concerned with. The last line of your post was effectivly made and I laughed.

Grass Master54,Welcome to growkind.you have to remember that we are a POTGRIWING site that likes to get high and talk shit.We all dont belive all the shit that gets posted here.But some of it is real,and if you research it you will see for your self.The reason the mainstream media dosent mess with the real news is something you can find out for yourself on the net,Google it.A lot of whats posted here makes sense and a lot of it is wild fantasys by some of the nut cases in this world.I agree people need to look at the whole picture and get off of America.We are still a great nation of hard working people no matter what some people think.We have the same problem the WHOLE WORLD has. No matter what we say or do we wont change what the people with the real power in the world are going to do.They control every country with any worth to them.They might not be all conected but they are all there for the same reason POWER and MONEY.All we can do is be who we are and enjoy our time here. PS. it is fun to see all the info there is out there about the people with the real power.

Did anyone else notice that Bushladen failed to follow his State of the Union Address format. He was supposed to mention that the US was pre-imminent as far as the economy goes. But he did not do it. Instead he played a silly game with the Dems and Reps. It was the worst joke I have ever seen in my life. I have never seen a house so divided. Bush was reaching for straws. He was clearly pissed off and did not know where to go. Last time I checked a State of the Union Address was not a fucking popularity contest or lets see who we can embarrass the most. It is supposed to be info for Congress and the people.
