can you just cut the male plant where the pollen is, and put them in a bag and save for a little while, then just shake it over a female? Then will it pollinate her?

The best way is to put a trash bag over the male and cruch the plant with the bag. Get rid of the plant. Then take the bag and slide it over one branch of the female thus only seeds on one branch (just slide and rub it on one branch and get rid of the bag). still a bunch of seeds but not wasting a whole plant.
