I’m no alien grower but the lady’s are looking alright. Mostly GSC this round with a few Thai pheno Lemonberry tossed in to make it an even dozen plants under 900w of LED. This coming Friday will be the end of week two. They’ll get they’re final trimming near the end of wk 3.
All trimmed up and ready go. Over the next few days they’ll be additional staking as need to fill in any open spaces. The goal is to have as close to a a trellised canopy with the to remove individual plants as needed. Stay tuned
Forgive me if I missed it somewhere but I'm curious why you cut off all those beautiful leaves? The leaves generate food for the buds.
Its crazy and fing awsome, they will bounce back with magic frosty buds and the leaves that come back will be covered in frost.
It’s called defoliation. I’ve been using it for years. It works when done correctly. Ducrider is doing it the right way!
Herb you’re wise to hold off on trying this level of defoliation until you’re comfortably back in your groove. The learning curve can be steep. The first two rounds that experimented with were both down by a good 6-8 zips. What I figured out was that defoliating to the level that Mr GJ does just doesn’t work for me in garden. My plants in an organic mix just don’t respond quickly enough to handle the full monty. Honestly I’m still on the fence about just how much defoliation works best for my garden. One constant though is the timing. Three weeks is the magic number for the final trim. Wait much longer and they’ll be stressed & may hermit Anyway. Here’s the group one week and a couple days after defoliation Cheers
