Peters 20-20-20 is a veg fert including all essential nutrients for healthy plant growth. It is strong and easily overdone, a common mistake by many. To avoid overferting your plants you must follow directions and measure properly.
For the first couple weeks from seed your soil should have enough nutrientsfor your plant. Your first application should be needed around the 2nd or 3rd week. It is important to start off with a mild dose (not full strength) . Gradually increase the dosage till full strength. EXAMPLE 1/4 strength first application, 1/2 strength second application, full strength third. Full strength being 1 Teaspoon per gallon.
It is also important to keep a good schedule for application. One application PER 3 WEEKS is fine. Do not go by frequency of watering as everbody waters differently.
Peters 20-20-20 is a fert for vegatative growth only, when flowering you must use a fert developed for flowering. Rastadub
