    Well it's been a while since my last post. had a few strange things happen. as some of you know i had some problems with the power going out for a week. bout two or three weeks ago i was sitting here trimming up some buds and i got a loud knock on the door. very attoritive like. so i kinda paniced and rush to hide **** and spray some potpori inthe air. well in the minute of speedy thinking i heard keys going into my door handle! **** blood rushing heart pounding pouring out sweat. i ush to the door just as its opening and hear "matenince" ****! it was the manajer and repair guy come to look at the toilet or some ****. and they were going to just walk im! well i stopped them and told them to wait a minute while i got dressed, relly cleaned and deoderized. but then i let them in and they checked the toilet, it was fine.so i have been laying low for the time bieng. really became a window watcher as of lately. i dont think thay suspected anything because im sure one of them would have said something but i dont know. read about mr dope getting busted and now i know how he felt when the cops came to his door. tough luck dope.
    well its back to the window for some more security checks:)

    :roll: Oh yeah...been there many a time. Nothin' like G-ma walkin' in and having to stash pipes and herb in a hurry!:shocked: I TOLD my roomie to lock the damn door because G-ma don't knock. [​IMG] Anyway I know ALL about the 'peering out the window' syndrome. :animbong: Glad to see ya around again Doc. :bigok:

    Hey Doc when I was a renter I always told the manager that under no circumstances could they enter the apt/house, unless, it was an emergency. Now I wasn't growing at that point but still did not want him to just walk in...I asked them to give me advance notice of any planned visit/maintanance which is only common courtesy...

    I could be wrong but i thought a previous post i'd read said that they were required to notify renters 24hrs in advance b4 a visit. This could be here-say or it may be


    something that varies from state to state.


    Either way, it might be worth ur time to see what ur


    rights are as a renter. Ask for a copy of the rental agreement u signed.


    If we only had the advantage the lawyers do in knowing the


    law sooo well......

    Yeah in my lease it says they are required to give me 24 hours notice! period. There was no emergency in my apt from someone elses toilet being stopped up. I think the guy downstairs had the problem and they wanted to see if it was comming from my toilet??i guess?? but i never called them to report and problems.


    i feel totaly violated. yes, that was basicaly a violation of the lease agreement. What was i to do in such a quick situation? I had zero time to prepare and my thoughts at such an important time were to be as polite and quick dealing with them as posible.


    The other thing is i have a cat and he was going crazy when they came in. Im not supposed to have animals here, but hey they arent supposed to walk in my place of rent without notice. Something i also wondered, what if i wasnt home at the time? I would have never seen it comming. They could have just wandered around and done what the hell they wanted. Good thing i was home. It was maybe mid morning and my lights and such were off. Thank god i wansnt cleaning rocks out in the bathroom or mixing ferts or whatnot. Luckily i had just gotten that ozonizer thing and it has been keeping the smell down a bit. I ass/u/me now three weeks later that if something was going to be done it would have by now ya know. Why give me a chance to remove everything? I need the money and since my current crop, (the straglers from the power outage) are looking like total **** i basicaly have to start over. They stunted got some sort of nut burn/or def. I dont know anymore i feel like im going crazy from paranoia. Had to take clones that are basicaly flowers. So that is holding up time. Life is hard but so am I.


    Maybe the 20th will be better its my bday. Im turning 25 but i feel 50. Hope to go see my parents and see how they are doing. Well its back to the crappy huge garden for some more depressing sights.


    ps i have since then changed the lock on the door. but i think the mant. guy has some sort of master lock picking key or something. ive seen/heard of him going into apts with just one key.

    :alien:I'm a renter and this definitely happened to me. This is what i did:


    I literally threatened the Management of this property that i would WILL NOT Re-sign my lease when it's up!! Furthermore, i had also notified mgmnt that i had written and mailed a letter to the owner of the property that it's Illegal to enter my property if there wasn't an emergency!!!


    The result? Major ass-kissing. The once cocky and arrogant management knocked on my door the next week with a sweet apology!! Why! Becuz i've been renting here fer over 3yrs;so i've given them thousands of bucks!!! It's hard to find solid reliable tenants that pay their rent on time....that'z me!!! I even quoted Nevada Residence Statutes to them to let them know that their not dealing with an "idiot"!!!


    If I were you...i would recommend u write a "threatening" letter of your own!!! Jus let them know in writing if they try to enter again without 24hr written notice(the law!)...you will not re-sign your leasing agreement!!!


    It worked for me and i'm sure it can work 4 u...good luck!!!

    well hs, thing is i dont want them to come back over here ever, not even to apoligize. i have lived here for over 2 1/2years now and they have never come over here. i pay my rent on time, and dont complain about anything. infact i never see them because there at another location and have a rent drop box:) but heres the thing. after one year my lease expired. what we did was just a verbal agreement that i would pay my rent and live here month by month, so i can leave whenever i want to. sounded good at the time but im just not sure now. i dont really expect them to come over again but this was definetly a wake up call.
