Good buys Berzerk. I use the exact same ones for hydro pumps (top) and ozone genertor( bottom). Both are very reliable (sp) as I have used both for over two years with no problems. Well worth the minor investment, I would say.
you guys are on some mad product if this is how you clone. take a look at my cloning setup and tell me what ya all think as this is how i have cloned for years and i have a 90 percent success rate of roots in 9 days or less. all i do is take a few cuttings of my mother plants and dip them in a rooting solution like clone X and the add them to a rookwool cube that has been soaking in a ph solution of 5.8 i then make up a solution called seed and clone generator at 5 mls per 1 liter of water. when i have placed all the clones into rockwool, i will then add the clone solution in the tray until about 2 mm of fluid is covering the bottom of the cubes. guys..... these bubblers and other devices you use i personally think are a waste of time and money.try the most simplist way and most of the time you will be successfull. just my thoughts. my garden and cloning setup http://www.growkind.com/marijuanapictures.gk?id=598
What could be simpler than air and water? For 20$ spent I have raised a dozen clones every 2 weeks for the last couple of years, I like it, it seems to work. Simply.
I think aero is a great to clone. Cheap, effective, and simple. Oh yea, if you want to root the fastest, for two days after cutting run 24 light, then drop to 18/6. It'll knock off about two days on average if you change nothing else.
Hey everybody!! Well I just wanted to thank everyone for their help and advice.... the pictures below will do all the talking for me... I took them last night.... the pump has been on the 15 on/ 15 off timer for 2 days now.. and until then had been on all the time.. so its day 9 now.... everything is looking great!!! Thank you all so much!! just starting to root..
Good deal Berzerk.I don't remember if you're soil or hydro. If you're soil i would plant them when the roots are 1/2" long.Completely soak the soil and give them a light dose of nutes and they'll take off in no time.
QUOTE Quote: from greenthumb420 on 6:19 pm on May 5, 2003 I've never used nutes in the res. I just use liquid karma.if you are planting them in soil don't let the roots get too long.in my experience they start out as spikes.i let them get 1/2" long and then plant then you will see them grow like mad.Once i planted one with just one 1/2" long spike as an experiment and there were roots all over the cup 3 days later. greenthumb420, i'm cloning directly into my medium and also using liquid karma. about how much liquid karma do you include in a tub and how many clones/tub? do you think i could simply give my clone a few drops of liquid karma each day?
MellowDood are you saying you are rooting in soil and not an aero cloner?when i transfer clones from the cloner i place them in clear plastic drinking cups like the ones you see at picnics.I heat up a knife on the stove and melt 4 quarter inch holes around the bottom. You can do the same thing if you are rooting in straight soil. One clone per cup.liquid Karma 3-4 tsp per gallon.Haven't seen any problems watering with that mixture evry time you water.the reason for the clear plastic is so you can see how the roots are doing.some say light on the roots isn't good but i haven't seen any problems what so ever and i've been doing it for a long time.
