    clong,
remove the fungus (spoon), get some circulating air around that plant (a fan), and stop overwatering your plant. That should help.....

racerx, thank you for your very helpful input. i did think to myself last night that i overwatered my plant. so im pretty sure that is the cause of the problem. again, thanks

Make sure the top of the soil is completely dry before you water again. I've had that too, it's mold and it will kill young seedlings.

let your plants go through a slight drought every now and then, just like they would if they were outdoors.

ismoke- should be using food grade hydrogen peroxide (35%), not the **** in your cupboards for cuts and stuff (3%). And, you should only use 2-5 drops per gallon.

**** man i use to have the same **** and the mold ate through and desinagrated the bottom of the stock when it meets the soil. I never overwatered i thought it was happening because of the temp.

    :alien:thanx Useless....great tip!!!

But here are the reasons why i prescribed 1tspn of h2o2(3% strength) per gallon:
1)Studies show that cannabis roots can Safely handle 100ppm of h202 per gallon.I have personally safely used 100ppm of"...the **** in your cupboards for cuts and stuff (3%)..." in my hydroponic reservoir! 100ppm actually made my plants roots appear whiter!!!
2)Ismoke2much'z 1tspn of 3% strength hydrogen peroxide per gallon- only provides 12milligrams(30ppm concentration)...very safe to use.
3)Useless's 5 drops of 35% garden strength h2o2-  contains only 1 milligram of h2o2 per gallon of water. That's only .26ppm h2o2 concentration per gallon of water!(Remember, u can safely use 100ppm of h2o2 per gallon!!)

In conclusion: Cannabis roots can safely handle 100ppm of hydrogen peroxide. I recommended u use 30ppm. Useless precribed using only .26ppm! Both of our recommended dosages are well below the 100ppm safety level for cannabis. So if u feel that using 5 drops of 35% garden strength h2o2 per gallon(.26ppm) isn't strong enough...then don't be afraid to use more...:light:

:alien:H2O2 Note: Never use it with organics!!! Bad...very bad!!!

Trivia:Did u know that algae is also a fungus...but algae is actually Good for your plants...not bad...
Why? Algae is a beneficial fungus that contains lots of nitrogen and phosphorous. Bigger microbes eats algae...and even bigger microbes(such as nematodes) eat these tinier microbes that eat the algae!!! Digested algae gives off Nitrogen and Phosphorous as a byproduct!!!

In conclusion: next time u see algae growing in your pots...don't freak out...cuz it jus' might be a blessing in disquise...:biggrin:happy growin:light:
