I went to see it last night... but made a big mistake. let me explain... an hour before the movie i smoke a monster fatty. I also stopped in a bar for a couple of drinks(actually 8 buds)because I was still 40 minutes early for the movie - big mistake. as i sat down in the movies theather at 10:15pm with my large buttered popcorn in one hand and my coca-cola in my other i remember saying to myself "who are all these strange fucking weirdo's in this theater" anyways, all i remember is some tall older bearded dude with a pipe in his mouth yelling and running up and down the ailes of the theater with some short midget. then... I passed out! the cleaning guy woke me up... 20 minutes after the movie finished! so i missed the entire friggin movie! ****!
That was the first movie, the second is better. I actually prefer peter jacksons first movies "Bad taste", "Meet the feebles" and "Brain dead". The funniest splatter movies of all time, done on a low budget, and awesome when your baked. Check them out. New zealand humour at its best
I saw it Saturday night. It was a great flick, but it left you hanging like the first one did. I haven't read the books. A couple friends read the books, but they won't tell those of us who didn't what happens. Someone find a bootleg of the 3rd one!!
i might be able to get it by friday, i'll get back to you on that one. i can get just about any bootleg dvd.
It was filmed bottom of the north island, i had a friend who worked on the set as a builder, but not I. He said it was an eyeopener, they brought the New Zealand army in as extras for the trolls, many of them. Hobbitsville is NZ,except were not all small
I went and saw the movie last night. I took a couple of hits before we left. I highly recommend the movie and being high for it! Unbelievable cinematrography. I believe these Lord Of The Rings movies rival the Star Wars movies. What do you all think?
There's no contest between Star Wars and Lord of The Rings in my personal opinion. But, I've never gotten into the Star Wars stuff much. Man, am I stoned. Nothing like, "Getting High On Your Own Supply" and not losing your ass!!
By the way it's The TWO Towers not twin and yeah I seen it well half...got kinda busy with a girl. Here's is the spoiler of the 3rd movie for those who want to know...if you don't then dtop reading NOW: There is also a different battle at **** I forgot the city's name but the point is that Mary or Pippin(can't remember) kills the ringwraiths big f monster thing. Then the king goes insane and a big crazy battle where the humans win. Frodo pretty much finds Mount Doom then Smeagol tries to get the ring but Frodo manages to drop it in the lava. No big fight scene or anything. Then there's a celebration and the 4 hobbits return to the shire where their home town is taken over and they manage to win it back.(frodo's vision in the first movie with the water mirror withthe elf lady.) Also Saruman dies.
