alright tokers, to cut a long story short i took a clipping put it in some root hormone powder, i then thought the thing died , was about to bin it and noticed new growth am i on the right track fellas...
what did you plant the cutting in? ie soil, rockwool? what method did you use? Be a little clearer for a better answer....
It sounds like progress to me but some times it takes a few tries till ya get it right for example at my old place i couldent fail dident matter what i did i always got roots in like ten days or less but once i moved and had to start a new set up and it seemed like no mater what i did i couldent get em to take slowly made small changes and now every thing is rooting like clock work. Make sure what ever you do givem at least a good 20 days or more till ya throw em out. Is easy once ya get your setup right. good luck hope she takes
Greenthumb420 has probably the best cloning method out there.. Look for the link in his signature..Nearly 100% of my plants rooted..But, If your growing a plant from a seed..Make a 1/4" hole in some prime soil, drop your seed in,Cover the seed with soil, water with 3-5 drops of Superthrive per gallon..AND WHAMO!! 2-4 days later..you'll be seeing their little heads pop out of the soil. I use the 'GT' method as well, and the one thing I will say about it...you will have far too many clones if not careful! I can't even kill them when I try. I had one that I took out from under the light for days since it was the weakest of the bunch....well I found it growing in the dark quite well. I won't use any other method myself.
I had to kill a couple of clones because I ended up with too many. I threw them in the bin but forgot to toss them out for a week, when I went to chuck them out, I had a look inside and they were still growing in the bag. They were thrown in upside down and had started bending upwards towards a crack of light in the bin lid. Way cool huh... I was surprised how easy it was to clone once I started using GT's method. Less is definitely more...
I havent tried gt420's way just cut the fuckers and dip them i think all the rooting hormones work the same i've tried them all every now and then one will die but thats probably cause of clumsyness their very delicate at that stage. Vitemen B1 works good to reduce stress and shock, i love trying new things i'll give it a rip
