Hey chief thats crazy boss! I had no clue that you were the creator of KICC... Thanks to Ninja and a few of the KICC members I gained enough enthusiasm and skill to try my first batch of QWISO... after that i was hooked...

Actually just made an ounce batch last night... and sheeees mighty fine. :D

I plan on making some BHO and trying to make Budder when I have my own grow op... Its a bit too expensive to purchase bud and make oil.

Good deal Oax, yeah i put out an all points bulleton to the crew so hopefully they will surface. Called t3 on the landline and it's disconnected so don't know where he's at.

Yeah Sarge, humans by nature have a sense "to belong" i just thought if we could get all the Hash and oil pros together in one spot, we could put our heads together and take concentrating to a new level.....thus the KICC was born. Yeah having a grow is a deffinante plus when concentraing.........because you cut out the middle man and it's not as expensive.

I guess to sum of the creation of the crew: Myself and TameThaTane were the architects, the crew were the builders........that's what made the crew

Hey guys, thanks for the heads-up as to where you were gathering.

I always liked your content, and the pics were frickin' amazing, hopefully I can add a little content to your posts...... :)

ps, I'm thinking someone out there has used CO2 for extraction, which would be ideal as it leaves no trace residue behind.

Talk to TUG .. The Unknown Grower about that...

I read a crazy ass post one day about solving the myth behind this mysterous budder...

He was just making BHO or ISO Hash Oil and then constantly purging and stirring the concentration.

This takes out nasties and suppossedly makes a better quality smoke...

He was very mysterious when he first started the post. He was like hey does anyone wanna know how to make budder? ... like wtf dude! YES! Tell us already! ..

So GO head TUG.. splain away.

Oh and CSB... Nice to actually be able to speak to you. Its funny because I was first attracted to GK.. and Have only recently became active.

For some reason I love tinkering with shit.. I hit the friends with some of this QWISO and they call me the Mad Scientist lol.

So yea anyway man thanks for getting the hashoil information out there..

BTW Where is NINJA... i didnt know him but him and T3 and a few others like HASHMASTAKUT got me started and I hope they all come to GK with all their loads of information.

I will not speak for us all but I for one believe as much information shared is the number one priority...

Sorry for rambling i am way too fucking high

Thanks Sarge, here's a quick explanation, although it reads more like an oil making narrative. The buddering part comes after you have your oil, heat it to 140 degrees F., and stir, repeatedly (see next post). This may sound simple, but depending on how far your oil was cooked, it could take a while.I have had budder take days to fully set, and some budders up right on the plate, depending on the strain, and how far you purge it, and wether you are using iso or butane. Here's a quick explanation (it's basically dried REALLY GOOD honey oil)IMPORTANTIt takes BUDS to make budder of this quality with ISO, tops preferably, of a super-crystally strain (ones with lots of terpenes seem to do it well).I pour the iso through a double set of screens (sieves, fine and extra-fine) so particulate doesn't sit in the iso in the coffee filters (this can make the oil dark and taste bad).rinse #1the product, frozen buds, previously pulled apart to individual nugs (each about marble size), are put into a 4 cup pyrex measuring cup (2/3 full), and frozen iso is poured into it (enough to cover the buds, stirred , and drained immediately into said sieve/filter setup (holding back the bud while letting alcohol drain)rinse#2again fill the measuring cup with (fresh) frozen iso over the same batch of buds, this time crunching a little bit of the bud, and again drainrinse #3again fill the measuring cup with (fresh) frozen iso over the same batch of buds, this time crunching them fairly well, and again drainremember, keep your rinses seperate (i have 3 or 4 stations set up with sieves/filter ready so I don't have to wait or slow down, at the end you can decide @ what point the rinses are impotent, or have color, or taste bad, allowing you to maximize not just yield, but potency. (some of us custom tailor our rinses, #1 & #3 together, etc., as they all produce a different high.this is what I consider 3 rinses.Remember, this can easily produce a dark, poor tasting product, the process MUST be done extremely fast, all 3 rinses in 15- 30 seconds. The key i found in success was allowing normally dry buds out for several days in a dry, warm environment, until they are light colored, and puff into dust when squeezed. It should be that dry, get rid of as much of the chlorophyl before hand, and the extreme rinsing has that much less of a chance to pull it out.this is also why everything is frozen, the iso has less of a chance to soak into the plant material, the coldness and dryness and the broken up state of the buds all help in allowing as much crystal to be washed off the plant as possible.I found #1 rinse isn't as good as when U add #2 and sometimes #3 to it. there is something to that, as well as increased yield.typical yield off 28 g. of excellent bud - 3.5 - 4 g. of budder, although I've seen up to 5 g. on some peoples weed (where are U now) Although most strains give less than 3, and plenty of so called killer strains won't even "budder up'. By this I mean the final step, when it dries into paste from a liquid state, and the color changes to very light, even white some strains, the crystal is so pure. adding the second rinse to 1 really helps. typically I would get 1.5 g. off #1, about the same off #2, and less than 1/2 of that off #3 (1/2 - 3/4 g.)butane yields more, up to 50% more in some cases.

Wow, Chief... Oaxa... Baron... Blazer... Sarge... this is starting to feel like home! Thanks a bunch for making me feel welcome with your crew, love the fact that there are so many oil lovers here...... Now we need to convert Green Goblin to an oil-head.Take honey oil thats fairly thick, not runny. Heat it to 140 degrees, stir (a lot). Once it cools, if it isn't budder, heat it again and stir again. Repeat this until it is budder. When you get a feel for it, it's not important to do it right away, you can leave it on top of your hot-water heater, or in front of a heat register while you sleep. The oil will take on a lighter color as you stir it, and if it's not done will turn back to a darker color as it settles. When it IS done, it will set up ridgidly, and change color (to lighter), it is now budder, a little smoother, tastier (less taste, but a finer taste), and it smells more as budder than oil.
