hey man don't be dissin emery just because he's in trouble. Are you even understanding what the USA arresting him could do? I think not, it could potentially lead to Canadian legalization. Which would lead way for American legalization. So in my eyes the man while stupid in what he's done could lead the way to freedom, the freedom alot have been waiting for. This in mind we should all fire one up for his troubles,and his sacrifices.

i guess not. I understand his digress with emery-haters. because 1/3 of them are just plain jelous. the other 2/3 are misled by the slanted and enchanted way in which the world wide web works. I believe once again, people emery are trying to commercialize and profit rather than be a true voice in activism for pro-mj laws and the easing of anti-mj laws. I hate emery as much as any other emery hater misguided or not, but my reasoning is deeper than just a fucked up seed packaging list, lost order, or general dislike generated from media bullshit (especially in canada)

Yah I watch it. I did not like how they viewed the smokers as all long haired hippy like people. Even showed a lady breast feeding her baby. I thought Mark got his point of view out though.

Very nice box there herb. God damn. Yeah georged, I half-assed watched it. Its nonsense. American gov't views on extraditing him, to serve an 80+ year sentence for seeds... Fuckin canada better have balls and stick with the not extraditing him stance I feel they'll keep even though they are conservative assholes.

I liked it when the US attorney slipped up and said, " It's some good pot." when speaking about BC Bud. HOWEVER. The worlds view on MJ is SO FUCKING WRONG.


1) BC Bud is powerful strong and the best. Marc Emery helped make BC Bud 'MORE POTENT"


2) OK Lets educate these dumb fuckers and send them some WW or some AK maybe some Chimera Mental Floss. The strength of the weed is the best part. The stronger the weed the less you smoke. PLUS like others have pointed out so many fucking times. If weed increased in strength so many percent every so many years it would be a glob of goop instead of a plant. Hell it would just grow as hash if it were true.


3) I agree the media did not portray weed smokers as they really are. They showed a bias of pink haired people and guys in gas masks made into bongs.


EVERY SINGLE person I know that smokes weed is a responsible, well adjusted, employed individual. I think we should write/email CBS/60 Minutes and let them know this. I think we should also send them actual REAL facts about MJ so they themselves can be educated. Like the history from 1936 to present day as well as all the fucking lies that are told about MJ every day and are taught to the kids of this country. Video games have damaged our youth FAR more than MJ has. In fact it is not even close.

 

Well said Neo. I have to agree. Just saw another anti-MJ commercial lastnight where this young girl is talkin about how since her friend started smoking pot all they do is sit around and do nothing. You could hear the clock ticking in the background with this 'supposedly' stoned girl sitting there in a stupor. Well I'm sorry, but that is total BS. I've seen teens sitting in front of the TV with that 'blank stare' going on. Try to talk to them and it's like their in another world. Step it up with a video game and they're lost for hours. NEVER in my life have I just sat with a blank stare on my face after smokin some herb....most times it makes me get up and DO something. But there ya have it....brainwashing at it's best.

1st off...what gives the DEA the right to go messin' with this Canadian dude Emery over the sale of MJ seeds...I know the DEA considers even seeds to be marijuana...but that is just ridiculous...a seed yes...does have the potential...to be marijuana in the long run...but as a seed alone...it's merely a seed...and the mentality that stoppin' seed sales in the US and jailing Emery will ever put a dent into the indoor/outdoor domestic mj cultivation successes will be limit'd at best and never enough to stop though of us determined to...I feel this is the DEA showboatin'...tryin' to stand tough...with draconian drug laws that have never fit when it came to marijuana...and that doesn't even touch all the lies that have kept marijuana on the same drug class schedule as Heroin for years...decades...it's hype...propaganda...and for CBS ratings...and tryin' to grab a few viewers on Oscar nite...dat's all...


As far as the representation of pot smokers...again the hype...the propaganda...if they were to show normal folks sittin' round passin' a bong to one annudder...someone might not believe all the propaganda the guvernment has bean shuvin' down their throats fer' years...and heaven forbid someone might consider the guvernment to be on the take...say it ain't so...don't ya' know...

I hear the same fucked up bullshit at Marijuana.com. You may not like him but he's done plenty towards pushing the MJ movement forward in Canada and especially BC. You don't like the fact that he made a buck at it. Too fucking bad...get over it.

 

ill give mark props for being johnny marijuana seed...But if your gonna LEAD the movement don't go blowing smoke in cops faces and bragging about it..Don't try to come off as a martyr...ME was gonna donate 1 million to my states Norml chapter to help get med. MJ on the ballot...I commend him for this but at the same time think about it...The more places that allow med MJ the more money he makes off of seeds...noones intentions are pure ..money is the ultimate motivation
