recycled media

    hello, im new here and have been growing for about 2 yrs now. my question is: do any of you recycle your indoor media to use 4 the next grow? is it good to do this?

    I always recycle my old media into a compost pile for outdoor gardening (hot peppers, tomatoes & shit like that) then start a new indoor grow with new media... But that is just me. :)

    My media!


    I have composted in place in the same media for almost 5 years now.


    So yes I reuse but add bulk raw materials.

    I recycle soil for bud with no problems or reduction in yield/quality. I add new soil and composted materials before using it.
