rate my white widow and grapefruit

How do my ladies look? Based on pics found here from others I am not sure when I should harvest, or if I should be getting more triches.

What do you think?

 

the trikes are from the GR only...i feel like they need more triches...or am I wrong?Thanks.

You neglected to tell us how long they have been in flower. Besides that I see all clear trich's. Meaning you should wait a bit longer IMO.

 

I've found WW and GF to be pretty much 60 days strains there is a 2 week window there with the 2 week stretch

 

Thanks for the comments...I agree the triches need more time. They have been in flowering mode for about 7 weeks; I have done some light pruning and been taking samples for about a week off the lowest branches. I was curious if someone can help me determine when they might be ready. I plan on stopping the ferts after today and start with plain h2o.

 

Like CSB says about 60 days , give or take on the WW. When your scoping them trichs take them out from under the light,and see if you have mostly cloudy trichs, with a few amber trichs in the mix. That is what I look for. I don't like to met my Indicas go to long, for the record I am an impatient SOB.

 

I think several things including how well the plants were cared for affect flowering time. While some don't go buy it, I think color change in the hairs is a good method to use. I think most wait until just over 50% to harvest. Also, if you keep looking at your trichs through the magnification it's 50% cloudy trichs you're looking for if I'm not mistaken. I think it looks like you have plenty of trichomes. Regardless, it looks good.


By the way, if you hit a sample that rocks your world, chop it then.
