Do you guys prefer topping/fimming your girls or just let her grow regular(one main cola)? Im still debating weather to do the damn thing.
A plant will yeild what it's gonna yeild...if you like one large cola...don't top. If you like a lot of smaller buds....top it. I prefer what works best for the plant.
How about I swtich them to 12/12 just untill they show their sex. I weed out the males. I have 4 plants 2 will likely be female. Then I switch them back to 18-6, top them so they brach out and have more tops. let them veg for another week or so. Then flower. Will this work??? Right now there are four plants squuezed into 1 small closet(in terms of width and length) but have unlimited height. They're only under a 250W HPS so I was kinda leaning toward topping. yes it will work. however, if you push the plants to flower it's gonna take a week or 2 b4 it will have "revegged" and begin to show positive vegetative growth again. then you are gonna veg it for just 1 week b4 you flower? that puts you back 3 weeks roughlyly. I say just let the plant grow the week, flower it, take out the males in a week or 2 and harvest it 7-8 weeks later. also, force flowering and revegging a plant can cause undue stress and create problems in your girls, if you do get 2 of 'em wa
with a small light, i used to always grow with the screen of green method. no topping or fimming, just intensive training through a screen. It allowed for all the budsites to get equal light which is hard to do with smaller lights.
