Adding robitussin to the grow? ? ?

hey guys i'm a new grower...i know a little bit more than basics for growing MJ. i'm doing well right now with my 7 plants. healthy and all.

i wanted to know if adding robitussin to the soil would do anything.
i had to go to a seminar for getting busted in school for drinking and while i was there, i heard from a guy that " you can grow MJ with ROBO and it's called purple rain!"

 

TO BE TOTALLY HONEST, I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT ROBO..... IM A GROWER FOR A GOOD 3 -4 YEARS NOW, AND IVE NEVER EVER EVEN HEARD OF IT, OR I WOULD HELP YA IN ANYWAY POSSIBNLE FOR THAT MATTER......

ROBO is short for robitussin. it's a cough syrup that if you drink about half a bottle of it you go on an acid trip. you have to drink like 4 fl. oz. of it.

sorry, but that's on the top 10 list of stupidist grow ideas i have ever heard. adding cough syrup to your mj plants will have no positive consequence.

Don't know about Robo but my grown room is small. When I get near harvest I water Sudafed into the soil. Doesn't do much for the buds but it makes it less stuffy in there.

 

^^^WOW ^^^.......come on guys, let's get rid of the tricks and tips from people who don't know. Whether sudafed or robotussin, you mj plants don't need it..at the end of harvest flush with water and that's it..come on people......

LOL, after reading the thread starter i never laughed so hard, the guy at the seminar was probably telling you that if you smoke MJ and drink a bottle of robitussin you will see purple rain. i doubt he said you can grow MJ using robitussin because that just doesn't make any sense. good luck with you buds. peace. nugz

Drinking "about half a bottle" of robitussin will not send you on "an acid trip". Acid is LSD and there is no LSD in robitussin. Only Dextromethorphan. It is a trip but not like acid. And 4oz max strength would be a good point to start at but 8oz is a good solid trip.


Oh and the guy that said watering your plants with robo is retarded. Drink the robo and water your plants with WATER. peace

 

Back when I was in highschool, I was being tested once a month for toxins so I quit the herb and found some other alternatives, one of them being DXM. I used to down a regular size bottle of vicks44 cough formula, and blast off! I had a lot of fun with DXM and recommend it. Just make sure to get the syrup that only has DXM in it. A lot of them have pseudoephedrine in them, and there's way too much in a whole bottle. I did do that a couple times and learned to steer clear of it. Hypertension of the neck and shoulders, even arms and legs during the peak. A fast, very hard heart beat. It was just too much. I mean the speed added a nice edge to the trip, but it really took it's toll on my body.

 

Not to mention breathing problems! if you have asthma it could very easily kill you! Hell it tells you that on the side of the bottle for normal dosage on a lot of cough medicine. Man that and those damn triple C's man everybody had to find some way to trip when shrooms couldn't be found and all the acid dissappeared in 2001 in guess.

also another alternative to this is Coricedin or Triple C's. Each pill is 30 mg of dextro. ive experimented with these, the hyper tension sucks. takes over ur whole upper body, and u can get sick. took about 8-10 pills. have seen many people OD on these.
