hey everyone, i'm trying to make a homemade bong out of an old wine bottle, does anyone know a good way to put a hole in a glass bottle?
yea i bought a glass bit for a screw driver at the hardware store. Its shaped like an arrow sort of. Its flat. When you get one, drill slow, especially after you've got the hole formed and your making it bigger. I tried to do it underwater too, as the dust is bad ****. I had an awesome homemade bong i made myself.
Use a masonry,diamond or a tungsten tip drill bit. Fill the bottle with water to help disperse the heat. Have a friend pour water over the spot where u r drilling to minimise dust. Hope ya got a few spare,coz it ain't easy !!!!!
make sure you have something to cover your mouth when doing it or else your get glass shards in your lungs which isent fun guud luck
@ glass shard's !!!! Um,unless u r gunna "chip" the hole in the wine bottle,the only thing ya have to worry about is dust ODC ! I would be more inclined to wear a pair of safety glasse's if ur worried about shard's ! P.S i was a glass worker for a # of year's !
I think its more of the uniqueness of creating your own bong. Doesn't mean anyone is cheap or anything. My brother has a few homemade bongs that he just felt like making. He also has some he bought. Me personally am not into making my own bongs and generally just use my little glass pipe.
The most efficient,cheapest bong can be made from an empty plastic 100 oz. liquid landry detergent container. Drop ice cubes in the bottom, fire the bowl up, and screw the TOP back on to prevent any smoke waste. Enjoy...
Hell, cheap is still fun! You can get just as high smoking out of a coke can & you don't have to worry about breaking it!
LoL But at least you can still recycle the coke can when you are done with it! (Like smoking anything is good for ya!)
