Linux huh? I run linux as well. Ubuntu to be exact....I just got off working some overtime and do not feel like getting one of my screenshots down to 110k. I'll upload a few some other time. Nice pics! regards, Slugg
my desktop is always changing, but heres what it looks like now: and heres an old pic I took for a different forum:
Go to desktop + Print screen key (takes a copy and puts it into your clipboard) + Paste into a program (Photoshop, Paint, PSP, etc.) + resize + save.

I <3s the Ubuntus. I used Debian for years. I hated all the setup time. So I have been using Ubuntu since dapper. I dont use Gnome though. I prefer XFCE , its what Gnome used to be , before Gnome2. I linked my screen shot from imageshack.us. You can use any size you want (within limits). Just use the IMG tags '[/img]'
go to your desktop, close/open any programs you do or dont want in the pitcure. then press print screen, this copies and image of your screen which happens to be your desktop! now open a program like windows paint, press "paste" then save it and your done!
CTRL+Print Scrn then paste into a program. Note: As much as people love their desktops, any large photos will slow down windows....mine is black...and shortcuts too revealing....
Not one bit. I LOVE it. It's clean, simple, and not cluttered. I wish I knew how to make my applications bar a bit more narrow...but other than that, I'm happy with my theme for now. Do you code?
Howdy Slugg, I write Java mostly. I really like making user interfaces. I code in a few other languages too : perl, php, ruby , etc How about you? Here is a screenshot from an app I made recently I love screenshots noone
