    Well they could be DOA..

There is also a possible fungus problem if the soil doesn't drain well and stays too wet.

2 weeks sounds long enough to germinate.

I don't have a good feeling about this.

I just started b-52,citral,blue mystic and a few others. All poped and are growing fine but the ice I planted I got 0 out of 10 to grow. Some times one just gets a bad batch of seeds.

    1) Get a plate, a few paper towels

    2) Set two paper towels down

    3) Set as many seed down as you want

    4) Cover the seeds with a few more paper towels

    5) Spray the paper towels till moist.

    6) Place plate in a dark closet, clothes drawer, and dark place.

    7) Every once in a while spray the paper towels to keep them moist,

    but not dripping wet.

In 2-3 days you will see, the roots poping out of the seeds, it never took me more than 3 day at the most for the seeds to germinate.

    8) Plant the seed root down in the soil, and wet the soil, place it in a dark place.

    9) When you see the seedling emerge place them under lights.

Note if the seed don't germinate, keep them in the dark untill you see roots.

    Hope this help.

im with scorpio, i use a similar method an get leaves within two days.

this method also helps insure that you have a taproot before planting.

just make sure to be careful when handling the sprouted seedling. crushing/dropping can ruin your seedling.

i like to soak the seeds in a glass until they sink. this insures that the seed shells are penetrated with water, an speeds up the process a bit.

i also put my plate and paper towel germinater on the cable box since a little heat helps speed up the process as well.

    good luck!

    yup

i just about follow the same exact steps as scorpio but i usually put mine in a plastic bag after spraying the paper towels and stick it near a window in three day they have like and inch long taproot then lay them on top of soil and sprinkle with a lil bit more soil say half a centimeter so rooting and sprouting are as fast and easy as possible

Many ways are successful. The easy way and only method I use anymore is to soak the seeds in a cup of water for 12-24 hours and then plant directly into soil. You'll get the same results as any other method but there is less chances of screwing anything up or damage due to mishandling the germinated seeds. My guess is you used too much or not enough water on your beans. They either dried out or rotted.

I just plant mine after soaking as well. Easy, slim chance of fuck ups.
