i think excessive, frequent pinching can eventually induce enough stress to cause a plant to turn hermie.

after just 50 days 12/12 my skunk started showing bananas, and i know there was never any light or heat stress. there was, however, significant stress due to a bit too much pinching from early in veg.

 

Physical manipulation is a stessor along with excessive light and heat.  Anything which is out of the norm, out of sync w/ nature will cause a hermie.  My experience w/ hermies are similar to that of mellowdood's. Kill them all!!!

So moderation is the key. I am going to only pinch one plant so I can compare the results first hand. Plus if I make a mistake I can learn from it with minamal damage. I am depending on this grow for 3 months of pain meds.

 

Can ya bend and tie the branche's Dank ?
That is wot i have done with one of the female's in my current grow.
The bud's are thickening up heap's,just don't try to bend them to far,less is more.
