Was just wondering how tall are your plants when you induce flowering? How tall are they when they finish??? Aside from my monster I induce at about 20 inches. They finish about 3-4feet. So how about everyone else???
wow! I got an outside grow and its 5-6 tall now....does that mean there going to be 7-8 with bud???woppy
I don't go by the height. I like to start flowering at 5 weeks when I grow from seed and 3-4 weeks after rooting if I use clones. That is, of course, for a normal grow. If I am trying somthing new like LEDs or Cold Cathode lights or growing in a medicine bottle, then there is no set rule.
I wait till there's room in my flower chamber I know what you are asking but man there are so many variables here, lighting/environment, height limitations, strain, training style, it goes on... I can't really answer for myself... Haven't found my groove yet but it seems like LSTing is producing great results for me...My current round was not more than a foot tall when measured by the distance from tallest leaf to top of pot but it was bent over. These plants are not more than 2ft tall now (at 9wks). I've had plants that were 2in tall when they had 4 nodes and others 6in tall @ 4 nodes. Some plants grow 10in during the stretch others 24in. My feeling is that the calendar can say whatever it wants but if the plant isn't ready, let it veg till it is. More often than not and especially as of late, I'm just waiting for space:laughing5: (I've done some 11 - 13wk vegges because I had to) Grat
i usually start flower cycle at 5wks. but like Grat said, if it doesn't look ready, i'll give it some more time.
