Has anyone ever seen a natural two topped plant? i did no topping or nothing to it... it just did it on its own. it was really bushy when it was smaller then it split into two and not quite as bushy now. has anyone ever heard of this? thanx ahead of time.
personally ive never heard or anythin like that, but you gotta keep in mind that all forms of life have mutations (for lack of a better word) in their species, and cannabis is no different, you may have a a plant that doenst grow to the standard cannabis growth patterns. i had a plant back in the day maybe a few months ago that started off with 3 leaves, grew like that for a few nodes, then straighetned itself out and went normal, jsut something to keep in mind. but thenagain you may have some next species of weed, the two topped tree or something like that. how about some pictures?
ill get some pics of it... it has a purple stock on it too... the only one that i have going right now that has a purple stock... its kinda a weird lil plant.... i kinda like it tho. i'll take some pics tomorrow... puttin new light in tomorrow. a 400hps... u have any suggestions for nutrients... they are organic, still pretty small.. arent ready for flowering yet. i'm goin to the hydro shop tomorrow... i'm thinkin bout gettin some FF big bloom for later, FF tiger.. any suggestions for vege stage? i'm definately gonna clone the lil bastard tho!! to see if maybe i can breed it if i come out with a good male. or might try and keep it for a mother
A plant that naturally tops itself? I want one! If it grows two tops without any cutting you dont have to wait for the plant to recover and it should grow two big and strong colas. Yup i want one!
ok.. i got some pics now. i will put a few up of one of my other ones too. it is younger than this one but growing much faster and bushier. but it doesn't have two tops lol. the first three are the two topper... the last two is my bushier plant which is younger than the two topper... let me know what u guys think. well... they are to big of pics to post i guess.... how can i downsize them to fit?
I'm not sure if this is what you are talking about, but this one is growing two main branches out of the central stem.
yeah... thats pretty much what it did... but did yours do it naturally? i did nothing to mine to make it do that.
Yeah, the plant basically did that on its own. May be something about the strain. My other Nirvana Fourway did the same thing.
I have a cross I made that does that about 2/3 of the time some self topyoung and some later the early toppers produce 2 nice colas
