Hawaiian Snow, Arjan's Haze #1, Great White Shark, Hashberry, White Widow

Bonsai mother plants in Hempy cups. Each one is fed two turkey basters full of tap water (left out 24hrs to evaporate chlorine) with 50% strength Pure Blend Pro Grow. I use Earth Juice PH Down to adjust to 5.8-6.0.

There are two slightly different looking phenos of this plant. HS1 is bushier and the leaves are a little wider than HS2. The smoke will determine if there is a difference.

Arjan's Haze. I've been disappointed with this plant. It has poor germination and seedling survival rates and is difficult to clone.

Great White Shark. My favorite smoke at the moment. This mom is almost 2 years old.

Hashberry. Another nice smoke and very healthy bushy indica.

White Widow is a dream to grow. It germinates and clones very fast with a near 100% sucess rate, and can be harvested in 7 weeks. The smoke makes the head feel hazey and seeps into the body. This 2yr old is from Dutch Passion.

    Towelieee you wanna get high?

That is a nice selection you got there. What kind of lights do you keep those milfs under?

    Lights

Thanks. I keep them in my Mother Tubbard under a 14w cfl and 1w LED. The LED is just to keep the light cycle going temporarily if the cfl burns out.

Any info on how you keep them that size would really help out some of us. Do you trim the roots? Do you transplant them? Thanks

I trim the roots once per year

This is the method I use, except with perlite Hempy bucket style and I don't transplant them into different size containers. They stay in the same container for life, with the perlite changed out once per year when the roots are trimmed.

    New mums!

These girls are the latest addition to my mum collection...Ice & Bubblicious...they will be topped in a couple weeks.

The water bottles are 30% narrower than the colored cups the other mothers are in, so there is space for lots of them in my Mother Tubbard.

    Thanks lukesmommy

I no longer trim the roots. I put the mothers into 12/12 every 6 months or so and replace her with one of her clones. Mother plants stay very short and bushy when flowered.

It's the same as a large mother except the clones are smaller

    ph

I no longer use the pH I did when this thread was started. Thanks to the advise of Useless I adjusted waterings in every stage to 5.6-5.8 and have had much healthier plants.

    Cool Thread

What I've been doing is, once I've taken clones and find a keeper, I flower the mom.

Everyone that is in a position like I was. With a tent, and nowhere to keep vegging plants should do this. WHen I start back up again, I'll be using this method to keep moms alive. I've got the math worked out where Once a year I can do two rounds, and have enough for the whole year. This is a perfect way to cut down on the time it takes, being able to have clones immediately. Brilliant. here's some rep for ya bro.
