Retirement grow.

Well this is it, the last one!

Its been fun while it lasted but this has to be the last grow from me. Ive acheived what i wanted over the last 18 months or so. I think i can now say i can grow weed and my debt levels are a lot lower.

So here they are left to right, GWS, Mazar and Church (church stinks already). The lights go out perminently in 6 weeks.

I can remember saying I was done several times before also..a break was more like it. Its hard not to think about those fat stinky buds once you have grown them and seen them up close on a kind plant.:fly:

Heres an update 4.5 weeks into 12/12. I seriously haven't been on the ball this time. My PH issues are fixed though. Got some garden lime in the soil so the soil is sitting at about 6.8 to 7 PH. Im watering with 6.5 to 7 water/ferts and run off is normally 6 to 6.2.


Heres the Church. Its the smelliest plant ive grow to date. It doesnt reak but i can smell it when i come in the house some times (i dont have a scrubber) so after this grow i would have dropped it. Its not producing as much as i like either. Its is hardier than the GWS though but the Shark shits on it for yield so far. We'll just have to see how it smokes before id recommend it to anyone.

Now heres the Mazar. I hate this plant. This is the second time ive grown it. The first time was the mother of this clone. It was flowered in a small pot so i thought the shitty results were due to that.


No its due to the shitty plant. Ive read AJ thread growing this and everything he has seen ive seen (except his seems to have filled out). Im hoping its waiting for a final push to really fill out but im not holding my breath.





And finally, the GWS. I love and hate this plant equally. Its got acidic roots. It doesnt matter what you do or what PH you feed the run off is always 5.8! Its also anti K and P and a N whore. It loves its veg nutes and leads you to beleive its going to be a joy to grow, then it flips on you. You go 12/12 and its jackel and hyde! It yellows mad quick, you feed it and bang, burnt to fuck. Im not even going into the mold issues lol.


On the plus side though is it can steal your brain and replace it with sand without you even realising :thumbsup: It also produce a big yeild. 2.5 to 3 oz per plant.





Maybe if i didn't smoke so much of it before i water it might look a bit better assit:

6 weeks 12/12 tomorrow. These will probably be the last pics until the harvest.


First off the Mazar. It sucks!


Its ugly, its a low yielder, its ugly, its hardly got any trichs and its ugly!





Now the GWS. She's fried due to me thinking she can take more, when i know she cannot. Stoned gardening = fail lol


Still producing nicely though. Should be a good 3 oz plants. Big yield, nice potent high and very touchy with nutes. Im on mold watch here on in!!!!








The Church is filling out nicely. The smell have died off too (good thing). Very easy to grow. Takes the nutes no bother. Im just waiting to see how she smokes.








Last feed will be this weeken (itll be low too) then flush mid week. Should be 2 ish weeks then lights out (for good.)

I can understand why you're stopping, whatever the reason may be. I'm waiting on some I hid outdoor to finish, I've had my equipment put up for sometime now.


Good luck with the rest of your life. Let me say, if you're as passionate about this activity as most of us, it's a lot like being a vampire who only feeds off livestock or perhaps blood banks... The thirst always wins. ;-) You'll be back.

 

those are some magnificent plants.... the difference in experience shows in what you consider to be a bad grow compared to what I consider to be a good grow.


we all know priorities are important, so best of luck staying out of the garden. kinda.

For all you people out there who love purple weed Mazar is almost black! I still hate it though. Very ugly and low yielder.

I have to agree with everyone...once you hang your hat up, all you think about is getting back to growing. I wish to God I could start up another indoor grow op but I can't right now. At least not without seriously jeopardizing my ability to live here. :icon_confused:
