So I'll cut to it. I used to have NO problem picking a strain. Now I just can't seem to do it. I'm thinking of doing two. I need one high high high in CBD with a more than average yield. Also, need one with a very very sweet taste. So, what does this sound like... White Widow, and Bubblegum? Also, a real big deal for me, is the ability to breed the strains I get. Give me your top recommendations everyone. My partner and I have read about how the THC content has been steadily going up since the 70s, but the CBD has been bread down. PRoblem with that is CBD is what helps keep the MJ from exacerbating the negative effects of mental disease like Schitzo. Thanks guys. Oh, and I should be back now for real, I'm starting over in a new location, new town, the works. =D Thank goodness I still have plenty left from my last harvest of 6 big plants and 10 small. Both of those are good, but it depends on which breeder you are getting them from... If sombud is still around, he grew both out in the past.
DJ Short's Blueberry May I recommend DJ Short's Blueberry as one of your possibilities. An old school strain with plenty of potency, should still retain plenty of CBD, great yields, sweet smell and flavor, looks good nice coloration. It's also standard seeds so you can get a male to breed with.
I'm thinking of going with AK-47. It seems like a strain that would breed well with anything. Only reason I'm going for high CBD, is my partner. She needs something that will calm down, as well as stimulate. I'm only going to be able to afford one solid strain. I've grown the following Grapefruit, Mental Floss, DP Blueberry, Flo, White Russian, Rx, Mystiva, Fuckin Incredible, Ak-48, maybe a couple others.
I'm going with something tried and true. I know it's not very original, but Serious Ak-47 it is. We really like what we hear about it's buzz, and how there are two pheno's each feels different. I'll keep both pheno's alive unless we both agree on one that's just all around better. I haven't heard anyone thumb their nose about the yields either. Going with some Jack Herer quite possibly when I get the money. IT was like 250 for ten.
