The clones I'll be purchasing are in About 1/2 gallon buckets filled with shredded rockwool cubes. Will this be okay to transplant into soil? I'm using FFOF soil if it matters? Thanks!

U can put rockwool starter cubes in just about anything that grows plants, soil, hydroton, perlite, etc.

So your getting the clones in pots of shredded rockwool? Just transplant like normal and whatever pieces of the rockwool stick to the roots, just leave them.

This is a good post. I know there are others out there who have wondered the same thing. THe answer is YES, rockwool goes fine in soil. I'd suggest, covering it completely with soil however. I'm not a fan of leaving any of the rockwool exposed.
