i am concerned about the state of the state of gk...i recently read a thread about people fighting between this site and another so i joined the other site to see whats up...and i was very surprised to see a lot of the former active members over there...i have not talked to them yet but i have read some of their threads and most feel like the no longer felt wanted here or even friendly here..... i have been here for a long time and have to be honest when i say i understand. without naming anyone or anything in particular things have just changed here....not sure why.....but with leadership changes some things just change... during my stay here i have seen lots of things change but not the loss of very good growers like i have seen here recently......gk has lost some great growers and some come and go but most just dont comment anymore... with all that said i dont have a clue how to change whats already been done.. hopefully things will improve here....
GK and 420G have always been closely related sites. Ppl leave here and go over there, some leave there and come here. Its been going round in cycles for years. As for whats changed at GK, you'd have to be a bit more specific about that.
i think hes talkin bout the "mojo" I actually joined there first, bout a year before GK, but Its even slower than here, with less documented grows too........I think I may have posted 20 times at 420.....me personally.....I do the farm and opengrow, under a differant name tho

i read the first post and thought ..."oh shit" Check it...GK and 420 have been closely connected...420 has less posts because generally we use a chat system over there....people bounce between here and there a lot.... Except for skuzzi we hate that motherfucker....

I think GK has a lot going for it. I don't frequent other sites, so I can't tell you how things are there. I like it here. I've learned a lot here. I'll stay here. Chris welcome back. I have also benefited from you being here. You made DWC possible for me. Easy to understand. That's what I feel GK is all about.

IDK... I like the mods. To each his own. what's this site, though? I'm lost... I'd check it out sometime. But if Skuzzi's banned, it sounds like their mods have good heads on their shoulders. Which is no fun for anyone. I've just been doing the IC mag thing. But a lot of the growers over there do huge operations and frankly suck at growing pot. Their grow shows seem a lot more $$ and operation size and style oriented and a lot less quality oriented. I like my good kind buds.

i was just being a ass....I am actually a mod over there and know the mods here....alot of Gk members have accounts there...there are some small differences...at 420 genetics the posts are less because we use our shoutbox(chat system) more....the mod squad there consists of me, SFC (an old Gk member), Useless (if i have to explain who he is your retarded) and Nowherefast...we are a small site and pretty tight knit.... Many people think 420 was made as a refuge for ousted Gkers...this is not true...420's original start was to be a website for a breeding company..that didn't happen and it became a grow site... most of the confusion about the war of the sites goes back to Me, Snickelfritz, and herb....not to mention a few others... we didn't get along to well and there was alot of low blows from both sides...this was YEARS ago... thats all died out since then and we have worked pretty hard (Especially useless) to get back to a friendly way of life..... I was banned from here multiple times....plenty were banned from 420... all ancient history though
This kind of super sensitive stuff is what happened to GK recently. Too many people wearing their feelings on their sleeves and making mountains out of molehills. Your comments did sound as though you may have been insinuating that the mods have been stepping in too quickly. I think we have had to step in too quickly in a few instances because members started to get their feelings hurt over silly jokes and whatnot. I love GK and I have visited a few other sites, but none are like GK, like home. I have posted a bit over at ICMag but like Stynk said, it's full of growers that are full of themselves. They have a lot of huge grows and some are great but some are like what the???? It's no GK that's for sure.
