Tried to smoke some of the finger hash from my recently finished crop in the vaporizer. Didn't work. Maybe this beautifully nasty sticky stuck requires a higher temperature to gas off. Although I've yet to try it, I've no doubt that oil will vaporize somewhere in between 230 and 260 degrees. Any experience... opinions on using a vaporizer to smoke hash? Maybe I needed to leave it in there longer because of the density??
I have tried it. It just makes a mess, and clogs screens. In my opinion hash is best smoked from a double percolator bong with a hash bowl and a glass wand.
I smoke it out of a standard pipe with hemp wick so I don't get skied up on butane from holding the lighter to it. Takes a few secs to get burning but once it does PHEW Hit and hold expand and choke ears ringing. Now let's go to work...Steelcity
it works kinda if you get it really dry and then crumble it into a bowl of weed. very small pieces, very spread out.
I use a generic version of the volcano when i vape hash. It fills bags and looks basically the same. Some tips I can give for using hash in a vape. Use 2 screens instead of 1, just throw another down in there. Surface area is your friend, cut it up with a razor blade nice and small. Little chunks work best. Use 225-235c for a temp. I like 235 with the slowest fan speed. It works great honestly. After the 2nd bag, or 2nd round of hits, take the bowl off and let it cool a bit. Id say like 5 min, stir the bowl around with a poker, and commence. I usually get 5 bags per small bowl. Vaping hash is great
I have a volcano, it comes with a "oil screen" looks like chor boy , take out the screen and replace it . and its good to go , its super thick and i have no problems with it ever clogging, and i can clean it with rubbing alchol. works amazing, set it to 365 and go!
