It was the first time for me doing clones. I did a bad job. Not all died, but most of them. The ones that died, came back to life, but now the new shoot is green and alive, but the original cutting is totally dead. It's so dead, it's crispy, but it won't drop off. Would it be ok to cut it off? Will the harvest of these clones be not all they can be because of the death? Should I **** can them? They look healthy on the new part, in fact they are growing in heighth. What would you do?
I would continue as normal and see what happens...Leave the dead parts on and allow them to fall off on their own.
The old part of the clone won't drop off because it is petrified. Really. The clones have been in soil for 25 days. They are just starting to have new growth. Isn't that unusual?
