Ya soon as I reported to the person I bought the light from he instantly said there is a new bulb in the mail, and that it must have been damaged. Thanks for the link. Very good guide. + rep if I can after this. I changed it up a bit, made it more efficient and set the light up differently. Finally got the air cooled ducting up, no false window, had friends over. I'll post new pics in a lil.

, I pull air through both the filters in both tents. The Cheese is an auto Dwarf strain, supposed to finish in 75 days from seed, it's day 50 something now, and I have noticed a lot of growth in the past few days.
Can I run a nice 600 Watt bulb off of my 1000 Watt ballast if I turn my ballast down to 75%? Isn't that the same thing with a 1K watt bulb. 75% is like running at 600 Watts, and 50% is like running at 400 Watts? Or do I have that fucked up?
Cheese roots are dead I thought... that's why it looks like that. I'm guessing it has 4 more weeks to go so the seed guide aughta be right. Because of the stress though i'm guessing you'll get about 7-10 grams. And I seriously doubt that's how that ballast is supposed to run... Some have the option to switch around but those are rather expensive I thought. You don't just limit the power going to them to run different bulbs.
Yea i run a dimmable ballast ,but i can switch mine . I run my 1k eye at 630 all the time when its hott, now since its cold i just re sync my ballast to 1040 and im good to go! . Ballast was 269$
Haha good point. Duh. I'll just dim the 1k ballast down. Looking into a 8k BTU portable AC for the grow room. Will that be enough BTUs to cool my room? 10x8.5.

Don't really know what your talking about. I'm running 2 400W HPS bulbs ATM and their all getting scrubbed and exhausting into the room until I install my false window (Waiting on carpenter buddy). Ambient temp in the room is like 75F though =/. Everything will cool down a bunch when I install the exhausts in the false window. I spoke with my electrician and he is coming over to install what he called a "Mini-Breaker", and he said then I could run my 1K, when I get it running, off of that, and it would be a dedicated 120 line, and I'll have another 120 line for everything else. Wasn't to sure what he was talking about since I'm a novice at electrical work. But now the condo will be safe from fires, no MJ smell at ALL, and run at a good temp. - Just found a lady selling a 7000 btu portable AC unit on craigslist for $150 o.b.o. I think I might go check it out. I'm looking for about 7000-1000 BTUs.
If your venting into the same room as your growin then your temps are going to be all outa wack for life And Id bet half my dick that your place smells of growing weed, scrubbed or not
I'm gonna say it does for the simple fact that his scrubber is connected at the beginning of the line. I would bet there are air leaks from the cool tubes, and joints or connection of ducting and so on. Any air leak in your exhaust line AFTER the scrubber will be drawing stinky air and exhausting out your window. :danger::danger::danger::danger::danger::danger::danger::danger::danger:
BB From looking at his video he's got possitive psi running though the cooltube not neg. so he shouldn't be sucking any stinky air into the ventilation system. That said I'd agree that more than likely there's some stink getting out.
I'm going to say he's making an honest effort on the stink, but think inexper may play a role. Raise your hands if you thought you had your stink under control then left and came home and before you opened you door you said........."oh shit!!" Then started buying every febreeze, lysol, and carpet deordorizer that your local store had. The shit stinks in flower, specially once you get some weight going. You should exhaust outside or in another room, for temp and air quality reasons. Odor control is a key part in this game and quite frankly you got bigger balls than I running multi lights with neighbors...my balls were handed to me once, and I vow never again.
If you guys would just read, the I am currently exhausting into the room because I haven't built the false window where I will be exhausting to. There is no smell coming out. I use metal tape on all connections and seals. You can stand right outside the bedroom door and not hear or smell 1 thing. I hooked it up good. I'll post an update tomorrow. Finally got it all up, temps never getting over 75F.
Caught that and saw you had it under control Chaz. It does smell though. No way no how do you ever get it all if you're growing more than a few plants.
Your right for right now. Since most of my plants are in veg, but the flowering auto cheese doesn't smell at all until I open the tent, I can put my nose right up to the exhaust and 100% no smell. Maybe I got lucky. Edit - I just fed and adjusted alot of shit yesterday. I'll make a update video and post and post that here in a little while.
